"I had a very bad experience here, the staff were rude and didn’t try help. Multiple times, I was faced with staff who didn’t try and help. The non English speaking staff were even worse, especially one man who wore glasses was particularly rude to me as a solo traveller. Just spend a bit more and book nicer hotel across the road "

"Have been in Ishigaki for 6 times, Miyahira Hotel did surprise me on the location, amenities and room condition. I stayed at the new building with balcony, which works perfectly well for divers - to dry our gear. Location is quiet and just stone throw to bus terminals for airport transfer. Breakfast is the top in town, from variety and quality perspectives. You can enjoy Blue Seal ice-cream there. They also offer free coffee everyday until 5pm with paper cups to facilitate take away. "My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "
