"Good hotel in the suburbs of Taipei. The area is not touristic but if you want to see the real Taiwan is a nice place to stay. Metro station is just 2min away and you find plenty of places to eat.
The hotel is super clean, rooms are very good size and bed is comfortable. The area is very quiet so you will have a good sleep. The staff of polite and ok. Taking the metro will take you very quick to the main attractions "

"We chose the Greatt Hotel for its location - 1 block from the Shilin Night Market (one of the best in Asia) and close to the Shilin train station - straight shot to CKS Memorial and convenient 15-minute bus to National Palace Museum. It is a bit spartan, but the rooms are clean and the bathroom was great. Reception was very nice and useful but did not speak English - the use of Google Translate solved all problems. I definitely recommend this hotel."
