「The stay was unique the property was very well put together with all the facilities but made from antique and oldie worldie fixtures. The owners were welcoming and jnformative. Breakfast was good and surroundings beautiful. Will go again.」
「Six of us were travelling up to Scotland and booked 3 rooms for one night. We all thought that the rooms were very clean and comfortable with amazing views across to Bamborough. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room was most welcome after a long drive. We ate at the restaurant which had a very good menu, the food was very good and well presented and reasonably priced. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful too. I would happily recommend Purdy Lodge without hesitation.」

「Very luxurious and comfortable the only problem we had was the kingsize bed was 2 singles put together ànd the mattress topper did not stop thre being a distinct line down the center which was sometimes a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast gave a great choice amd was vert tasty. The pool was good but closed early 6pm itvwould hzbe been nice to enjoy the facilities

「We stayed for our Anniversary trip and I booked the Olympic suite restaurant and wasn’t disappointed, fabulous food, wonderful attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for us , room was fantastic comfortable beds and pillows , bed was enormous, we had a bath and shower and tea making facilities, everything was within walking distance, lovely few days would certainly go back and a great choice , my only negative was parking which can spoil your experience and made arrival for us very stressful 」
