「I booked a room described as a 'Double or twin room with sea view'. In the notes of the booking, I requested twin beds but I was allocated a double room. The man serving me - older gentleman, white hair - would have struggled to care less. No apology, he just blamed Expedia and gave us a room with no view, which wasn't how we wanted to end our trip. There are signs everywhere telling guests what all the rules are. The hotel feels like an old people's home rather than a holiday destination. ...

「This property was in an ideal location to explore the west of scotland and the Isle of Skye. The village had amenities that suited our needs, a well sticked shop tea rooms and local restaurants. The cottage itself was well equipped and spotlessly clean and comfortable All information was given before we arrived and host checked in with us once we arrived. It was perfect for 2 of us but had enough room for a small family of 4.」

The space is a little older and somewhat cluttered, which made it feel less fresh than some places we have stayed, though it may have been more about the age of the property than the actual cleanliness. 「The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with. Torridon is a short walk away with a general store and there is a lovely cafe nearby too. 」
