I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese. After an awkward minute on the phone they hung up, but a few minutes later I finally got instructions on how to get inside. The staircase inside is very tight and carrying suitcases up is quite difficult. Once inside, the room is clean...

"Very kind and helpful staff - we really appreciated being able to store our luggage prior to check-in. The room was spacious and clean, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning. Jiufen can be quite busy and loud, so we loved the inn’s quieter location, while still being conveniently walkable to the main bus stop for day trips and hikes."

"Great property, was a good experience being able to stay in a more traditional home away from big hotels and further from the tourist areas of Jiufen. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and the extra food and drinks were appreciated. "Cute and cosy! Really convenient little place to stay with a lovely comfortable room. The views were great and location just a stone throw from the main areas. Seemed like one of the best places to stay in the area. The room is spacious and quiet - we really enjoyed the bathtub with a view of the mountains and the little balcony offers amazing views too. "
