"From the moment we arrived, the service at the Shangri-La Hotel was nothing short of outstanding. The team could not have done more for us if they tried. We never once had to open a door or press an elevator button ourselves — every detail of our stay was thoughtfully taken care of. They kindly froze ice packs for my medication, which was greatly appreciated, and when they learned it was my birthday, they surprised us with an upgraded room. To make the day even more special, they sent a beautiful gluten-free birthday cake and balloons to our room — such a thoughtful and personal touch. Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The hotel itself is stunning, and the location is simply fabulous. We cannot recommend the Shangri-La Hotel highly enough and will definitely stay again."

"Great Location with Excellent Service This was my first time in Dubai, and I planned to use the metro extensively during the trip. After landing at DXB, I took the metro directly to the Financial Centre station. From there, it was an easy walk across Sheikh Zayed Road using the air-conditioned pedestrian bridge. The hotel was just a short walk from the station, conveniently located between the Museum of the Future and Burj Khalifa metro stations. Check-in was smooth, as the hotel already had our reservation details from Hotels.com. We were given a corner room with a nice view of the main road and the Museum of the Future. The room was spacious, featuring a comfortable bed, a work desk, and a couple of chairs. It was also very quiet — both from within the hotel and the outside environment. The location is excellent, with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, especially when it came to giving directions and helping hail cabs. Although I didn’t use the rooftop pool, I did check it out — the area was clean and well maintained. Overall, a great stay with easy metro access, helpful staff, and a quiet, comfortable room in a central location."

"We stayed at this Hotel for a week in October. The Hotel isn’t the largest but has around 250 rooms, so if you want quietness and calmness but near to the Dubai Mall, Dubai Fountains and the Burj Khalifa all about 20 minutes in a taxi ( not in rush hour! ) then this is the perfect place. Pier 7 and the Marina Mall are around 30 minutes away also. They have 3 Restaurants and several bars, a cafe ‘ afternoon tea all really great food and service. The staff are just wonderful and will do anything to help you. It was my birthday during my stay and I received 3 small birthday cakes from the restaurants I had been in, and birthday greetings from numerous stay during the day. Which was so lovely. The food in all the restaurants was fabulous and the service too. The hotel is very clean! And well kept. The Butler / concierge service was excellent too. This is definitely a fantastic hotel. "
