「The room was just what we wanted, with two twin beds. The wi-fi worked easily, and the bathroom was very up-scale. The lounge felt welcoming, which expanded the size of our living space. We loved the breakfast, which was both professionally put together and personalized. We felt welcomed by the hosts, who gave us excellent directions and suggestions. A very pleasant stay!」

「Great location if you want somewhere quiet away from the crowds. That said it is within a short drive of Ventnor, Shanklin, Godshill and Sandown. The outside space of the cottage is limited to a courtyard at the side of the property. If you have a big car you might find the driveway a little on the short side - that said we did manage to fit two cars side by side ( a Niro and a Panda). 「Overall The Good Ships is a spacious, clean accommodation in a great place for easy access to the seafront and beach in Shanklin.It’s is let down however by some of the amenities provided, which is such a shame. The kitchen requires additional pans and general facilities. 2 x saucepans is not sufficient, a large frying pan and large casserole dish.The fridge is a large American style with water and ice dispenser of which neither of the work.The TV is old and needs updating, not being a smart TV...
