「Our stay was incredible. Desmond, our guide, gave us some incredible sights and we were really lucky to see 4 out of the big 5 alongside various other interesting animals. The reserve is vast and there is plenty to see, the fact that there are various lodges across the reserve means even if you have a fairly quiet hotel, there are plenty of rangers out doing drives which helps your chances of animals being spotted and your ranger making their way there. 「Eine Location mit sehr viel Charme, tollem Ranger Clifford, freundlichsten Personal, auch wenn die Eintichtungen etwas „in die Jahre“ gekommen sind. Für die Anfahrt über die letzten 14 km unbefestigte Straße sind sicher 30 min Autofahrt einzuplanen. Diese Straße muss man auch zurück, wenn der Nationalpark besucht wird.」

「The highlight of our holiday to South Africa! A beautiful lodge with comfortable air con and tranquility (and yes a few necessary spiders) but providing the most incredible authentic experience of the wildlife, animals, birds, flora and fauna of this game reserve. 「We had a fantastic 3 days at Addo River-View Lodge. Our hostess, Leanne, was fabulous and very helpful and informative. The proximity of the location to Addo Elephant Park was ideal and we booked a guided full day tour there. We also enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the Sundays River and climbed the sand dunes. The local restaurant, Taste of Africa, was excellent and less than a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended.」
