Boutique, 4 bedroom detached house

"Immaculately clean and spacious house. Excellent location close to the centre and great communication with the host. So smooth and easy it made it a wonderful holiday with no stress at all. There's a lovely outside patio where we spent a lot of time as the weather was nice. We were in Teignmouth for the live music at Pride weekend (which was excellent and would thoroughly recommend to everyone, it's a fabulous community event) but it meant we didn't spend that much time actually in the house but it was lovely and spacious. Fabulous showers which is a key one for us. The kids in our party and my partner loved the quirky posters and memorabilia around the house and thought it was incredibly cool. It's mentioned in other reviews and on the posting that although it's only about an 8 minute walk from the town centre it is up quite a long, steep hill and as we were with my 80 year old mum she couldn't walk it but with Ubers and taxis we never had to wait long and it was about 8 to get back. The only other thing to be aware of, if you're not a confident driver the gateway to the property is pretty tight and on the bend of a hill so took a bit of maneuvering. As there was 7 of us we had 2 cars but parking on the road was a bit challenging as we were mindful not to park on the road across from the house opposite as access for them would be difficult but there were few other spaces (both drivers got told off for where we parked even though there were no restrictions)"

"Staff were friendly the full English breakfast was very good with cereal if required, really nice bar with plenty of choice, our room was dated but the rooms are being renovated so when I return to Teignmouth I will definitely stay here again, 5 minute walk to the town."

"During my stay the hotel room was incredibly tidy, lovely accommodating staff. The balcony had an absolutely stunning view. The hotel was incredibly tidy and lovely. We had something happen and the staff were very kind and considerate aswell as the owners. Beautiful property overall and would 100% recommend to others to stay here and I would stay here again. The bathroom was spotless and had all the necessary products required. Genuinely slept very well and the bed was incredibly comfortable, lovely how they provided a kettle and complimentary biscuits, was very nice and a really pretty presentation of the room. All my love to the staff and owners. -Amelia"

"The house was perfect for our family trip away. Everything we looked for was there, it was clean and welcoming. A treat to have all towels , bed linen and beach towels. My granddaughter walked in and said “ this is perfect” thank you so much - we’ll be back!"

"We had a lovely stay at Abi and Colin’s cottage. It was clean well appointed, with the added benefit of a parking space and a small outdoor patio-just perfect for our needs. It was within easy walking distance to the beach, pubs, shops, ferry etc. and not far to go to other attractions. Shaldon is a delightful village and we would love to return to the cottage some time in the future.Thank you, Abi and Colin."
