"The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! "

"Everything was perfect from the first communication to the surprise piece of apple pie upon arrival. The room was cozy, comfortable and had every amenity, even bowls for my pet and a play-ball. It was truly a joy to stay at the Carriage House."

"Very easy to reach host if anything needed. She left 2 delicious slices of pie for us on our arrival. A wonderful and unexpected treat. The apartment is well furnished, quiet and well located. It is on the second floor, so it is necessary to climb a flight of stairs to reach it. It is an old house, so the flight of stairs may be a bit steep for some, and the lighting is low during the evening hours. Just use your flashlight on your phone if you need help. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return if we are ever in the area again."
