"Room was clean though very small. Early check in was available and concierge to hold bags on check out. Breakfast was good, amenities including gym and pool were nice and clean.
Only gripe - check in wanted photo ID and this was not mentioned in prior emails etc so I had none, but of a faff but worked around it in the end "
"The hotel and room were exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The room smelled fresh and was spotless. Access to the hotel and room were keyless which is very convenient. The staff were super friendly and professional. The hotel is very close to the metro and is within walkable distance to popular attractions such as Kyoto garden, V&A the Museum and the National History museum. "
"The entire hotel was superb. The very best part? The friendly staff and it is located across the street from the Gloucester Road Underground station. Breakfast was fine and the room was fine for a single guest."
" polite and friendly. Our room was spotless although the room seemed a bit tired and could use a bit of updating. Bar and restaurant staff were professional and friendly too. Our only peeve was that we weren't allowed to tip the staff. I dont understand why we couldn't when we felt they did a good job. Overall,a lovely stay and id recommend the Copthorne Tara.for a pleasant experience.
we were not allowed to tip the staff, which "
