The staff at the Hux Hotel really made our stay here stand out. They were kind and very helpful in helping us plan our days. In addition, we absolutely loved our room with the balcony and view of the valley. Did I mention the awesome breakfast and well-appointed library for relaxing? Dinners were good too and it was nice not to have to go out. We were initially concerned that the focus on family guests might be a detriment but that was not the case at all. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Well done, Hotel Hux!

Great staff, lovely slightly quirky hotel which was extremely comfortable with excellent bed, amazing shower and good coffee machine. Highly recommended.

Stayed in a beautiful well located 2 bedroom apartment. Recently built, but were some minor disappointments. The front window would not close fully and so noise from the street was loud. The tile in the bathroom was cracked in multple ways and so felt like it moved when stepped on. The dishwasher upper level was not stable. However, I would still recommend.

A personal touch at this unique boutique hotel. Staff was very helpful in answering questions and attentive in taking care of any needs we had. The proximity to the Kensington High Street Tube and also to Kensington Palace, the Park, restaurants, and shopping, was something we had not been looking for but really appreciated.

The good points - Shower and bed excellent. Room very small and painted in dark purple, with one small opaque window. Felt very claustrophobic. Lift only from first floor upwards, with a narrow staircase of 21 steps from ground floor to lift. Totally impractical for large suitcases and older people. Bar very expensive - £34 plus a service charge (total £39 and change) for 2 small glasses of medium quality wine. Pub two doors away (The Goat Tavern), a large glass of good quality Sauvignon Blanc wine was £11.65 and no service charge. Expensive for the quality of the hotel. The Park Plaza in Westminster, for example, cheaper and much more superior. Do not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is really local to everything - we booked a petite room and it was definitely small, but very comfortable. Close to a lot of shops, museums and the royal albert hall. Would definitely visit again.

Our stay at the Hux Hotel was lovely! The room was clean and well maintained. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which was convenient, and the location of the hotel was beautiful with Kensington Gardens being close by. The only downfall was the bar. We found the drinks to be quite pricey, and the “free” round is only covered after you’ve paid for your first round. The bar also wasn’t being managed when we arrived at 5pm, although we were still seated. Once the bartenders came in, unfortunately, we were made to feel more like an inconvenience than welcomed guests. Overall, it was a great stay however a free room upgrade would have been appreciated.

Underbar personal och fantastisk inredning! Älskade det här hotellet och kommer garanterat tillbaka. Det enda som saknades var frukost, men med både Starbucks och Whole Foods som grannar så gick det utmärkt ändå🌟

Location is inconvenient for tube lines. You will always have to change lines or take bus and tube to get anywhere. But the really key thing to know about this place is that at best the accountant is incompetent; at worst, they seem to be attempting fraud by not giving refunds where refunds are due — unless you realize they have not and then you have to take the time and effort to chase them up.

Hux hotel…enjoyable stay, and comfortable. Room was basically a small studio, and is great if you’re on vacation or on a business-related extended stay. Private bedroom with queen-size bed, and pull-out sofa bed in living room area. Clean and comfortable bathroom as well. The location in Kensington and adjacent to Kensington Gardens Park. Kensington High Street can be busy and a little loud when you’re in your room, and the “party-life” and pub vibe in that area often extends to 3 or 4am. No fault of the Hux hotel…it’s just the nature of that location. Easy walking to Hyde Park, Prince Albert Hall, and Harrods, as well as Buckingham Palace and The Green Park. Loads of restaurants, pubs, and interesting stores are also within easy walking distance, as well as the Knightsbridge and Kensington/High Street Tube (subway) stations.
