Our stay at the Ballard Inn was very comfortable and clean. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you

Ballard has many options for dining and is near the locks which are a must see. Ballard Inn is perfectly situated in the middle of everything.

As long as you are ok with the shared bath situation, this little sister of Hotel Ballard is a great deal. Ideally located, very comfortable beds, and way quieter than we expected given the busy and vibrant neighborhood. Staff was great as well.

The staff was very helpful and friendly- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The history of the the location was very interesting as well. We were able to walk to the Ballard Locks and the Botanical Garden from the inn.

the room was in a building not staffed close to the sidewalk. So small the bed took up all space in room no closet and the television required a computer specialist to make it work. The best thing about the room was a very comfortable bed

Great location and the access to the gym is awesome. We didn’t realize when booking that the room had a shared shower and bathroom, but that was never a problem and the facilities were clean. Really comfortable bed.

So cute and quaint. Very small, but cozy and comfy room. We weren't expecting to have a shared bathroom experience (facilities are in the hall and shared by several rooms)…but it was never an issue and fun for our son to experience.

Quaint and comfortable

We chose the Ballard Inn as it was close to the cruise ship port. The area around the Ballard Inn is very quaint and easy to get around. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. The Ballard in is more of a B and B style. Shared bathrooms and smaller rooms but no restaurant as there are many within walking distance.

Check-in was down the street at a different hotel. The room was quite expensive for what we got; the room was quite small and the communal bathroom was a bit inconvenient. It's a good central location if you're spending time in Ballard.

Two day stay

It is a very quaint European style room. We didn’t spend much time in the room. It was in a great location in downtown Ballard, Washington. There is no one at the desk to assist in anything so you have to call them and the other location Ballard hotel, is just down the street. We would definitely stay again. It was the best location to walk around and see the sites.

The Ballard Inn, while smaller than the Ballard Hotel, is a gem of a property and we highly recommend it! The reception area is often closed so you have to go to the Ballard Hotel to get your room cards/check in, but it's only a couple of buildings down and not a hassle. The shared bathrooms are very well-maintained and clean; the rooms are small but beautiful and are the perfect size if you're staying in Seattle for a night or two. All in all, a great place with a wonderful history that shouldn't be overlooked!

A good stop-over

If you're just staying the night, it's not bad. However, you can hear everything - to the point that they provide you with earplugs. The TV cut in and out of signal. Check-in was a bit confusing as you check-in at the hotel, not the inn. The room and bathrooms/shower room themselves were clean.

Small room, but a good deal for the Ballard area

We arrived super early and the folks at the Hotel Ballard (the sister property) were super welcoming. Our primary reason for not giving a 5-star rating is that the room was very, very small. It was too small for two people to stay in very long. But if you want a nice, clean place to stay in a great part of Seattle at a very good price, the Ballard Inn is a good choice.

Good location but small rooms and a bit noisy

This is a historical hotel that has been fixed up but you have to understand that it’s small rooms and shared bathrooms/shower. There is no staff to greet you. It’s all done at their more expensive hotel a few feet down. The bed was very comfortable. It’s a bit noisy w thin walls and traffic going by. For what it is, the price is a bit too high.
