The staff at the Culloden House could not have been more helpful - from arrival, to meal service and through departure. We were a party of five and occupied three rooms - which they expertly assigned to us in close proximity The Hotel is an antique but the interiors are fabulous, bathrooms are modern and the maintenance is top notch. There is no sacrifice of comfort to preserve the antiques. The quality of foods and beverrages are on par with the quality of the Hotel. We knew our 5:00 a.m....

This is a charming inn. Very quaint with a lovely host, Helen. Breakfast was delicious and be sure to try Helen’s homemade granola!

What a lovely hotel, staff and location.

During our 2-week visit to Scotland, I managed to catch RSV. I was miserable. And by the time we reached Portree, I was struggling to breathe. My husband spoke to the Cuillin Hills hotel staff about how to go about seeing a doctor and they immediately got to helping us out. The desk staff spent over an hour on hold with the NHS to help establish my "temporary resident" status so that we could even get in to see a doctor. The view was amazing! We appreciated the good-sized fridge.

This was the best place to stay on Skye. Nick was an excellent manager always available and fantastic. Amy our server was wonderful. The staff the property and the views we couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. I highly recommend this property food was fantastic and the staff was excellent.

Greeted at the Train station by a hotel driver, there was never a time that the hotel was not assisting in the best of hospitality. When asked when the bar closed, the answer was "when the last guest goes to bed". The hotel's food was the best of our trip.

Staff here was very nice. It is not walkable to downtown Inverness but if you have a car it works well. Good breakfast options and room was nice size. We stayed in the new building, only complaint was that there was a green safety light above the window that shown brightly the entire night and kept us both up. UGH!

lovely old building, walking distance to town and trails.

I loved this hotel. The staff was friendly and kind. The hotel itself was cozy, clean, and homely!. I would definitly come back

We found everything at the resort to be excellent. We did not have time to take advantage of the pools and exercise equipment, nor some of the other facilities available. The restaurant buffet breakfasts were superb. However, we did not like the burgers, which were required by law to be well done.

Excellent host, excellent breakfast, very clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance to town. Overall terrific value.
