"The place itself is a gem and huge, with all sorts of facilities. Unfortunately it's located in a rough area of the Campania region. Staff is ok. There is plenty of opportunity either to just relax and sunbath or to do sports (from riding a bike to water activities). The night pool is a treat. Extras include a sauna, a resort. Food is very good. Perhaps will explore further."

"I had a relaxing stay. I was in the area for work, the hotel had everything I needed. The restaurant was ok, I had the meat tasting and it was average. Otherwise the hotel is adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful the pool area was nice as was the dining area. The bathroom in the room was great, nice large rain tree shower, very clean."

"We had the most wonderful stay at Rena Resort – it’s hands down the best place to stay in Mondragone, especially for a small family. "We were on adventure through the South and had to stop for over night close to Naples. This is 4* hotel. The building is undergoing refurburishment and scaffolding is all over the building. We arrived around 10pm and we were greeted coldly-could be the language barrier? Then the shock that very loud music being broadcasted on all floors which wasn't switched off until we called the receptionist to do so. "They do have a pool as advertised but it’s covered and looks like it’s never been an option for use. It states it’s only open for seasonal use. Which season it’s been high 90’s 100. How much hotter does it have to get. I don’t believe they have any plans to ever open it as it’s a mess the pool pictures on Expedia are of a fountain in the front of the pool. Expedia should pull this property off their website. Very disappointing and one of the reasons I hesitate to use it, to many false...
