"Air conditioner operation wasn't explained so I had it on low setting and was very uncomfortable until I asked how to operate. Tiny ants EVERYWHERE and on every surface. Entry/exit is a double sliding glass door that faces the main walkway with a lot of traffic and curious onlookers. Key to door is a Phillips screwdriver and difficult to use. Very busy location with a lot of ATV (4-wheelers) traffic 24/7. My room was directly below the common kitchen/dining area and heavy chairs sliding across...

"This was my second visit to District 88 and it was just as perfect as I remembered. The communication with staff is amazing. In all honesty, this is one of the reasons why I returned. Lalo is extremely helpful and got back to me quick with basic questions and needs. I love all the different areas you can go to for laying out and pools. "Stayed in April 2026 with 2 girlfriends and absolutely loved the hotel and the location. The hotel was spotless and our room with 2 queens was plenty big for the 3 of us. Having coffee in the hallway on each floor was a nice touch. We spent many hours relaxing in and around the pool. Our only complaint, if anything, is that the beds and pillows were really firm. Would highly recommend Ximena and would definitely return!"

"My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. A beautiful,clean and well kept hotel. Staff were excellent!! Rooftop pool and deck is awesome. 10-15 min walk to the beach. Very convenient location. Oxxo and a beer store next door. Very clean around all the stores. Bed was very comfortable and water pressure was great for showers. Full size refrigerator in our room and 2 burner stove.
