"The hotel is conveniently located just a short distance downhill from Piazza Garibaldi (the entry to the main pedestrian zone of Cortona). However, parking is on-street nearby and arriving on a fine Saturday afternoon, it was challenging to find a space. I had to park in a paid space located a distance away for check-in, and only managed to find a free spot later when the day tourists had left. Parking issues aside, the hotel itself is lovely and cosy, and all the staff I met, from reception to restaurant, were genuinely warm and attentive. The breakfast was a standout – instead of the usual dry scrambled eggs and limp bacon, there was asparagus wrapped in bacon, baked eggplant topped with diced tomato, baked stuffed tomatoes, fried eggs with avocado slides, and many more visually appealing dishes I did not have space in my stomach to sample. I have never had such a unique and delicious hotel breakfast anywhere. The hotel also offered some small bites for happy hour in the evening, but these were not as good as breakfast and were quickly gone without being replenished. I got a very good deal on Expedia, visiting in the off-season in late November. If the price is right, I would definitely stay at Hotel Villa Marsili again if I return to Cortona or its vicinity. Highly recommended hotel!"

"What views from this wonderful apartment. Every evening the sunset was warm and comfortable on the lounge chairs and mornings perfect -sitting enjoying the fruit and olive trees and distant mountains. A perfect place to paint if inclined. The inside kitchen was very well equipped and we easily made a few meals. We were fortunate that it was olive harvest and I offered to help rake the trees and collect the bounty. Sabrina and Luca drove us to the town olive press and we watched the flourescent green liquid pour into the container at the end process. This year’s first pressing. What a wonderful experience! Their sons gave us information about the little working farm and its history and local treasures not to be missed. We easily drove to Pienza, a very charming hill town, Perugia, Lake Trasimeno and Arezzo. Very high recommendations."

"The Village of Cortona was wonderful. The people, the restaurants, the charming warm and welcoming days and evenings visiting the piazzas. The Travel with Tuscany Team, our driver and tours were great.Casa delle Rosa certainly was well managed, charming place and beautiful views from balcony. There definitely are a lot of stairs to get to that balcony but well worth the climb. We hope to return to Cortona."

"This was a very nice apartment with fabulous view from the terrace. We had our morning coffee and our evening wine on the terrace. That was outstanding. Only suggestion I have is to have someone sharpen your knives for cutting."

"Host was very accommodating an say to connect with. The Flat was beautiful, with air conditioning, and all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay. Beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, hot water was great. Very close to everything, with a beautiful private terrace."
