"Our location was beautiful. We met our host and showed us our villa. It was a condo cottage part of a hotel.Our condo was clean . Our bed was very uncomfortable and our pillows were extremely hard. No extra anything to exchange themThe pool was lovely, the hot tub was a cold tub. We loved the location however barking dogs kept us awake both nights. Be aware of many steep stairs. Hate to be negative but can’t give more than a three. "

"Inmountain Resort offers remote accommodation high above the city of Funchal. Your host, Marco, is very accommodating. For a very reasonable fee, Marco met me at the airport and took me on a tour of Funchal. The accommodation is more than adequate. Quiet and very private. You will feel as if you are in another world - far from the hustle and bustle of daily life. High recommend Inmountain. "

"Pros: Had a wonderful time in your Beach House! The views were more beautiful than I ever imagined. Family had one of our favorite vacations. Cons: Showers need immediate repair. First bedroom shower downstairs was stopped up and the pan filled with water. The other 2 bedroom showers leaked and flooded the bathroom floors. A little repair would make a big difference."

"In a word, fabulous. The villa is located in a very quiet area, the stay was in perfect peace (the occasional and distant dog barking is not disturbing at all and the neighbors' dogs are completely calm). It's almost a miracle that the villa is also a few minutes drive from the centre of Funchal, also a large supermarket with groceries, meat, fish and everything you need and also a great starting point for any trip. "We arrived late in the evening after our transfer from the airport. The resort had arranged the transfer for us and the driver was waiting at arrivals for the 8 of us in our group. He was great and gave us a bit of a tour on the way to Calheta. Our reception at the resort went well and the woman on duty made sure we got down to the buffet before it closed. She was very friendly and attentive to our needs after a long day of travel. Our rooms were modern and clean and cleaned and tidied well each day by the cleaning staff, The buffet was great with a large selection of food items. Drinks at the bar were served quickly and were good. The "drink of the day" by the pool was excellent on the 2 days we had them. The resort is in a beautiful location, nestled below a cliff. There is a public beach next to the resort which has great sand and water access. Evening entertainment was fairly low key but pleasant as we enjoyed the evening by the pool while listening to a musician or watching the dancers. We had no complaints about the staff at the resort. They were friendly and did their job well. All in all I would recommend staying at this all inclusive Calheta Beach Hotel on the beautiful island of Madeira."
