"We stayed for 3 nights, however the air conditioning didn’t work after the first night due to a fault in shutting the outside doors. We had staff come in and out throughout night/early hours to try and fix it. It broke again after two hours so had to have them come back in again. It then worked ok"

"The main building of the hotel looked nice. The restaurant where breakfast was served and the breakfast itself were good. The staff was nice. However, the building where we were accommodated needs renovation. The elevator did not seem safe, it looked very old, but I believe it is safe. The open entrance hallways did not seem very pleasant. "This is a lovely tranquil oasis outside of town. I enjoyed it very much, but they need to pay a bit more attention to maintenance. The jets in my tub did not work, the wooden roll up shade on the door out to my patio would not roll up all the way, my patio had not been swept, and I could only take a bath, not a shower, because the handle on the shower fixture was broken."

"Location good. It is rustic. The patina on floor tiles and stairs is wonderful to see. It is very charming with traditional shutters and feels like a special place that has seen a cosmopolitan life and celebrations and been central to it. Bring a camera there are so many inspiring textures and plants that meander. It took me a moment then I got it. I loved it. If I was getting married I would definitely hire the whole place for a wedding. If not hire a room and enjoy a g&t underneath a fan in...
