Encompassing 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, and 3 sleeper sofas this home will sleep 10. Perfect for a group get away to enjoy local hiking on the extensive trail system nearby! Unwind in front of the 55" Samsung Smart TV or the multiple outdoor sitting areas after a long day visiting The Plaza, Canyon Road, or the Railyard all conveniently located within a quick drive!Serene mountain views, garden, generous parking, and covered portal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sun Mountain house. It's a beautiful property from which you can walk into town or up further into the mountains. The house has some quirky aspects to it - such as a very small sink in the downstairs bathroom - but we quickly got used to them, and the library and grounds, where deer and hummingbirds are frequently to be seen - are well worth a stay here.

Character and Location!

We loved staying in this adobe home within walking distance of Museum Hill and biking distance to the Plaza. It is a great place for families and friends.

Santa Fe historic cosy sojourn

It was thrilling to stay in a house that truly had a historic ambiance. It felt we were living part of the Santa Fe world. One evening a small herd of mule deer came by. We were able to visit all the museums we wished and be with nature.

Perfect Santa Fe Experience

This was our first trip out to Santa Fe and we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay! The property is quite private and very lovely. And close to all the things we wanted to see and do. It's an older home with tons of charm.

Enjoyable

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this home, with its books and lovely setting among little pine trees. There's a nice patio to sit on, and the books are a great asset. (Warning: the sinks are quite small, especially in the downstairs bathroom.) Overall, we loved staying there.

Great historic home

Staying here will make you feel like you live in Santa Fe. The home is very comfortable, but previous reviews re: the small bathrooms are accurate. But there is a wood burning fireplace, comfy beds, and a very quiet neighborhood!

Very comfortable and charming

We loved the charming antique nature of the house. We were quite comfortable and all our needs were met. I do wish the living room had other furniture so the whole family could hang out comfortably. Also, the couch really needs replacing. Other than that, we were very happy with this home.

Family Ski Stay

We enjoyed the property. The fireplace was hreat after skiing. The full kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The house was conveniently located near ski santa fe (36 minutes away), shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Overall best stay we have had in a while.

A nice retreat

It was a nice place to say and our host was friendly. This is an older house with old lights and plumbing (the kitchen is new), but this was as described, and we enjoyed the authentic Santa Fe home experience.

Cozy and charming home, convenient location

We loved the look and feel of this home. The bookshelves and decor were lovely. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. We loved the location - it was far enough out of town that we even saw deer in the yard twice but close enough that it took just minutes to drive to the plaza or Canyon road.

Authentic Santa Fe

We’ve rented many houses in Santa Fe, but this one was our favorite. Truly an authentic experience, filled with books, beautiful details in the house, mule deer in the back yard, and close proximity to hiking, museum hill and town. Thanks for the welcome coffee, it made our morning!

Gorgeous, cozy, & rustic Santa Fe stay

Our group of couples enjoyed everything about our stay. The kitchen equipment was well stocked, the bedrooms were all unique and comfortable, and the property itself couldn't be beat. Lots of wildlife & views. We enjoyed sitting on one of the (many) porch/outdoor seating areas and listening to the surrounding thunderstorm roll by. The property manager was easy to communicate with, & quick to respond to any issues. Very easy drive to downtown, hiking, or Canyon road. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely House, wonderful location

A long walk or short drive to everything. Very quiet neighborhood, lovely home. My only negative is that the bathrooms are very small and the downstairs one is oddly narrow. But I'd come back here in a heartbeat. Had a wonderful time. I was here with my 23 and 25 year old granddaughters celebrating my 80th birthday and we all loved the house.

Great time in Santa Fe

The property was great. We added fairy lights to the front patio area and this made it much cozier after dark! The only draw backs were the slow drain in the bathroom sink and the bathtub tap control that would fall off (but both still worked).

Santa Fe house with character

It was a pleasure to stay at this adobe home. The house has three comfortable bedrooms, plenty of nice linens. Lots of character with adobe fireplace, books and bookcases throughout (with great selection), brick floor and nice terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and modern. The management company was excellent and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay here, about 35-40 minute walk to the plaza, and 15 minutes to Museum Hill.
