Thanksgiving treasure

This is the second Thanksgiving we have celebrated with friends in Santa Fe. Casa Madrid is perfect for our needs each time. Comfortable, quiet, wonderful location convenient to our friends and great Santa Fe attractions. Couldn’t ask for better. Thank you Alex

A lovely holiday stay

We stayed two nights to celebrate Thanksgiving with nearby friends. Could not have been more pleased Both for my husband and me and our older poodle who we could not bear to leave at home. Hosts graciously accommodated arriving a couple of hours early. Quiet safe neighborhood. Great amenities. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Perfect place

We used Alex’s place as home base for day excursions. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to clean. Super clean and comfortable beds, including the pull out sofa. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place!

Since we used to live in the area, we return to Santa Fe to visit friends and do business errands every two months. This rental is very comfortable, clean, and in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. It is also very well located for us to go about the area and complete our errands. There are several restaurants about 1/2 mile away as well.

Casita in Santa Fe

The Casita was perfect for our almost two week vacation in Santa Fe. The property is clean and modern. The private courtyard was also beautiful and comfortable. The owner was always accessible and very kind. We plan to stay at the Casita again on our next visit.

Home Away from Home

We have stayed at the Casita many times over the years as we travel to SF frequently for work.. And we keep returning because it is such a great space. Quiet, comfortable, clean, well appointed, private and a great location. The host is a wonderful communicator. Plus it’s dog friendly which is such a bonus for our traveling JRT!

Perfect Casita and Location!

I loved this casita! It was clean and modern but also had that traditional casita look and feel. The outdoor courtyard is amazing and very private. The neighborhood is quiet and your minutes from everything in Santa Fe.

A great month in Santa Fe

Location was great for us. We could walk into the Plaza, Canyon Road and the museum campus. We were close to stores like Trader Joe and CVS, important when staying for 4 weeks. The casita was very good for this long stay. We had our dog and there is a outdoor, enclosed area where she could go safely on her own. Alex was a very responsive host in every way.

Everything was…. satisfactory

We were given check in instructions but were never emailed a code for the door lock so we waited outside in our car for a response from the owner. The property covers basic needs but is not luxurious by any means. The bed is a queen, the couch is in need of a redo, and there are absolutely no frills provided but the heat worked well and our four night stay was okay. It accommodated our small dog which was our main request. We arrived in Santa Fe one day before our reservation and stayed at a hotel nearby which will be our first choice from now on.

Happy Every Stay

We have happily stayed at the casita several times over the years. It’s always a treat. While on a quiet street it’s also close to many must do’s in SF. Clean, quiet, private and comfortable. Plus dog friendly with a great neighborhood to walk in and a small fenced in courtyard. Alex is a very responsive host and great communicator. We highly recommend his place!

Perfect perfect perfect!

This was a wonderful place. Beautifully appointed with an adorable enclosed patio, we loved this place. The location is great, close to the Plaza, though not walking distance, but better than that, it is close to a great park that our dogs loved. We had a super vacation.

Beautiful, peaceful place

We loved many things about this lovely casita: it was easy to get to from several directions, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful, the casita was spacious and comfortable, the little private courtyard was a wonderful place to relax, our host was kind and responded quickly to concerns, the bed and other furniture was comfortable, and we just felt at home there. Only two other comments: The listing indicates the property is downtown and it's actually a mile or so from the Plaza. Also, there were not adequate kitchen towels and dishwashing supplies to take care of our dishes over the several days we stayed. These did not diminish our enjoyment of the property, and we would love to stay there again when we return to Santa Fe!

This Casasita is 5 min drive to excitement in Santa Fe

We made a good choice renting this Casasita: price reasonable & with a 5 min drive to plaza & 35 min to Taos: perfect. Only complaint: the sofa sleeper & bed gave us a BACKACHE!! Thank goodness for ibuprofen!! We would pay more for nice beds and pillows. Other than mattresses and pillows, I would stay again and recommend to others

Quiet and Cozy

My husband and our puppy spent a relaxing week at this casita. It is located on a quiet street in a nice residential neighborhood. Centrally located with easy access to all the Santa Fe sights and attractions. Lots of parks and gravel roads nearby to walk the dog. Our host was great, very accommodating and openly communicated with us prior to and during our stay. We cooked most of our meals at the casita and the kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed. We also worked remotely a little during our stay, and the internet was fast and reliable. For anyone looking to spend some time in Santa Fe, Madrid Casita is a great option.
