"The grounds are stunning. Staff are polite, helpful, and efficient. The room was very nice but the en suite (shower in particular) is dated and not designed for tall people. The hotel in general is quiet, which is good as you can hear everything if someone is talking outside your door. Overall - very nice and would definitely stay again. "

"Our stay at Camino Verde was great! The staff was awesome as they gave us a thorough check-in of the property as well as a good introduction to Monteverde and the various activities. They were super helpful in booking outside activities and giving their personal recommendations (Thanks Jaustin!). Our room was quaint but fit the two of us and was clean. The only minor issue we encountered was the Wi-Fi was intermittent and spotty into the room. "

But more than that, they obviously have a deep love for what they do and where they live, and they want everyone to have a meaningful experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The rooms were basic, yet met all the needs and were very comfortable. They were surprisingly large and conveniently located to shops, dining, and attractions. "

"As a female traveller, I felt completely safe here and would definitely stay again if I'm ever back in Monteverde. Great place for a solo traveller with a communal kitchen to help keep down expenses of eating out. WiFi in all the rooms. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful 😊 My only complaint would be the floors in my room hadn't been cleaned (but in fairness it's a 2 star hostel, not a 5 star hotel). "Beautiful, faciltiy. We stayed in the Forest Deluxe room which was larger and a bit further back from the road. The grounds are well maintained, the breakfast service was great and the staff was friendly. Just across the street are some decent restaurants and a grocery store. It's a short 2-3 block walk to the town square. "
