Amazing hotel and staff! Very clean and lovely rooftop bar and pool - front desk gave many great recommendations, from hikes to restaurants. Would absolutely stay again! Recommended a parking lot 5 minute walk away that’s only €4.50 per day, so was easy to have a rental car.

miserable experience, mainly due to food. regarding a la carte restaurants, the waiting time was shockingly long and the portions were too scarce to feed an adult man. the main restaurant offered poor choice, especially at breakfasts: lack of different options, and those which were there stayed the same whole week.

This is about a 15-20 minute walk to to the centre of Funchal, but lots of restaurants etc, all around. Clean rooms, staff was great, food is really good. We had issue with a charge when we checked out but they rectified it. Very happy with our stay!
