I have stayed at Planet Hollywood on multiple occasions going to Las Vegas. I do enjoy its centralized location on the strip. The room itself was clean, and did offer a limited view of the Bellagio fountain. Our housekeeping staff did a nice job of cleaning the room, although there was some sticky substance on one of the dresser drawers that would not go away. The only real problem that I had with this stay was the almost hour long wait for check in. I had completed the mobile check in process, had my QR code and other necessary items ready to go. However upon trying to use the kiosks to check in, I was unable to check in on it (this has happened every time). This would not have been too bad, but I ended up waiting almost an hour to check in and I was a bit let down by the not a friendly reception from the desk staff. I understand that they have no control over situations. They did prioritize the rewards members first which added to the wait, as well as two women who monopolized one recepruonist for almost the entire hour I waited. More desk staff may be needed or the kiosks should be working to help maintain a nice flow to check in.

Ideal location for exploring New York. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

The staff was excellent. Truly 5 star service. Location was great. The family room was perfect to accommodate my husband and I plus our 3 kids. Very spacious and comfortable for all. Exceptional - we will be back!
