Chilled hotel

Really pleasant stay in a hotel located in a quiet residential area a bit of a walk out of town (walking into town took about 30 minutes downhill). Really clean, quiet, chilled.

Not directly located in the inner city. But very comfortable to reach by car. Parking direct in front of the hotel without extra payment. A 20 minute walk downtown or at the beach was no problem for us. Taxi from downtown to the hotel costs less than 10 €. Fantastic park only a few minutes away. To discover San Sebastian and the region a great / perfect location.

Average hotel. Comfortable beds and a good size room and balcony. Quite odd to have no balcony furntiure or a fridge in the rooms and dated tv, air conditioning etc - not exactly 4 star! Nice small terrace but hot tub wasnt available. Dissapointing! Bar closes before midnight, againdissapointing and not in line with being a 4 star hotel. Front desk staff were helpful.

This was a lovely hotel, about a 30-50 minute walk to the main areas of San Sebastián(all downhill) the walk back was a little hard as it’s very uphill but there is a regular bus every 15 minutes for about €2, bus stop a short walk from the hotel. The room was clean, quite and roomy with a nice bath and shower and toothbrushes soap etc provided. Note there is no kettle or mini fridge etc which would have been nice. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful. The cafe/bar is also very nice and very good value for coffee/beer (€2-€3). The one thing that let it down and the reason I didn’t not give 5 stars was because of one member of staff at the bar. I asked if it was possible to have just a mug of hot water (to make tea in our room with bags we had bought) he said this is not possible as mugs couldn’t be taken to the room. The following day I arrived with my own flask and asked if he could top this up with hot water kindly and he scoffed at the idea and was quite rude. He did fill it up but made me feel silly for asking. I then asked for a little bit of milk, to which he also looked at me like I had 10 heads! He then said he had to charge me for the milk (fair enough but he didn’t have to be so rude about it). I also thought this was unreasonable as I’d spent money all day on beers and coffee. Every other member of the bar/cafe were very friendly however.

Stayed here before. Needed to change my room and staff were very helpful and efficient about it. Main breakfast room a little expensive but good food. There is a nice cafe/bar in the reception where you can get a good snack if you want a lighter breakfast

A very comfortable stay, though the aircon wasnt particularly effective. The stay was spoilt a little by being charged €10 euros for 2 small coffees which were not particularly great.

We booked an accessible room and the bathroom shower flooded the whole bathroom.The screen was not watertight and the floor was treacherous.We arrived quiet late and so chose to eat at the restaurant.The waitress was incredibly rude!!

The area where the hotel is located is a residential area, so there is no many options for dinning as such not many options for transportation if you are going to the city center and tourist attractions, only option is to take a cab

It's in a quiet locale. The room was decent sized and provided robes and slippers. However the toiletries are lacking in quality (single gel for shower, bath and hair?!) The toilet paper comes in single sheets. They don't have all the pillows when you ask for them and the wifi is atrocious.

Great hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet unfortunately was underwhelming, I would suggest making you way into city for breakfast. The hot tub is closed so did not get to utilize. The hotel is a 30 mins walk from the city. Or 10 mins bus ride, bus stops are 3 mins walk, which is very convenient. Two suggestions for the hotel is to have a better stocked first aid kit and outdoor chairs for the balcony (so guests can enjoy the outdoor space they are paying extra for). Overall we were pleased with our experience and would return here.

Hotel told me (twice) that I had no booking so I made a second one and then they charged me for both. Staff service poor and manager would not meet with me to discuss. Also came back to room one afternoon and room door left wide open by housekeeping who never came back.
