"This place is a true gem! It was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. The owners are really fantastic, they clearly want you to have the best experience possible. The grounds are beautiful and the house is charming. Breakfast was homemade, delicious, and a nice treat during my long trip! The memory foam mattress was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on while traveling! I prefer a softer mattress for reference. I will absolutely be back! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen is the perfect size for a large group and had enough seats for all of us to eat together. We appreciated the plethora of bathrooms to allow for privacy and speed as there was very little need to share. The location was quiet and it was easy to get where we needed without traffic as a hinderance. "

The kitchen was beautifully equipped with very nice pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Very nice, clean appliances. The neighborhood is gorgeous as is the town of Durango. "The property was spotless and homey. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed with everything I needed to prepare all my meals each day (essential when you're away from your own home for a week!), and communication with Julie, the property owner, was easy and delightful, starting with her bringing over eggs from her chickens the first day and telling me about the history of the cabin. Being near to the James Ranch Market & Grill, I was able to do my meal shopping with local and regenerative products and enjoy a burger at the grill (try the baconaise dip with your fries - yum!) Having also recently stayed at another Vrbo with an out-of-state property manager, I will say that this cabin *felt* like home and that it was being cared for by its owners as they would care for their own homes. "We were in town for my son’s wedding at Purgatory, so the location was perfect. While the house was amazing, we all loved the front porch and yard. We played lot’s of family games. Our favorite sounds were hearing the Silverton train echo up and down the canyon. We will be back for sure. Thank you Anne!"

"Great location, not far from Durango and not far from Silverton…the first night there we saw a black bear! Unfortunately we had to leave early due to some unforeseen circumstances back home. Would love to stay there again!"
