"This place is a true gem! It was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. The owners are really fantastic, they clearly want you to have the best experience possible. The grounds are beautiful and the house is charming. Breakfast was homemade, delicious, and a nice treat during my long trip! The memory foam mattress was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on while traveling! I prefer a softer mattress for reference. I will absolutely be back! "

The kitchen was beautifully equipped with very nice pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Very nice, clean appliances. The neighborhood is gorgeous as is the town of Durango. "The property was spotless and homey. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed with everything I needed to prepare all my meals each day (essential when you're away from your own home for a week!), and communication with Julie, the property owner, was easy and delightful, starting with her bringing over eggs from her chickens the first day and telling me about the history of the cabin. Being near to the James Ranch Market & Grill, I was able to do my meal shopping with local and regenerative products and enjoy a burger at the grill (try the baconaise dip with your fries - yum!) Having also recently stayed at another Vrbo with an out-of-state property manager, I will say that this cabin *felt* like home and that it was being cared for by its owners as they would care for their own homes. "This home and property were perfect for our entire family celebrating a grandparent’s milestone birthday. As outdoor enthusiasts, we greatly appreciated dinners at one continuous table on the deck, the garage and bike space, and especially coming home to the yard and Hermosa creek each day. From the time we drove the driveway coming into the property, to seeing the inside spaces and discovering so many well thought out and appreciated touches (pack and play, crib in master closet, indoor and outdoor games, kitchen furnishings, two refrigerators, laundry, etc.), and loving the backyard privacy and creek access, we could focus on family fun. Great place and great location!"
