"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — A Truly Magical Experience at Río Perdido Río Perdido is one of the most extraordinary resorts we’ve ever visited — a hidden gem that exceeds expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality. The maids, servers, concierge team, and everyone on site were unfailingly kind, attentive, and made us feel like we were among friends. The resort itself is stunning. Set within a private preserve of forests, canyons, and geothermal wonders, every view feels like a postcard. The thermal river is unforgettable — relaxing, healing, and unlike anything you’ll experience elsewhere. We loved the beautiful hiking trails, restorative yoga sessions, and exhilarating zip-lining. The food was exceptional across all restaurants, with fresh ingredients, great flavours, and flawless service. Every meal felt special. A true highlight was meeting Gabriel and his father — two of the most gracious, passionate people you’ll ever meet. Their love for the land, the community, and the guest experience shines through in every detail of the resort. Río Perdido is magical in every category: service, nature, activities, food, and atmosphere. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will absolutely be returning."

"Very nice clean rooms comfortable beds lots to do and the staff was top notch! Very polite and helpful especially with our older mother who was with us. Food choices were broad enough that everyone found something they liked restaurant and bar on the grounds and the adventure tours were super fun! Our adult kids had a great time!"

"Joel at the front desk was very friendly and amazing. Although we stayed only for one night, the hospitality we received was great. The breakfast was served on the table with plenty of items. Joel offered plenty of advice for visiting the national park, the general safety tips, etc. The views were breathtaking, wish we stayed longer. "

"Staff were so lovely and welcoming. The activities at the resort were good, we booked a package from their website as we only wanted to do some of the activities and the package they offer at the resort is all of them for $120. They allowed us to split up our activities over two days so we did most of them one day and the hanging bridges before we checked out the next. There aren’t many options for food around the resort and I feel more than 2 nights unless you are driving to do an activity elsewhere would have been too much. But for 2 nights it was perfect. Great way to start our Costa Rican vacation. "

"The property is so quaint and so cute! It is close to restaurants, fruit, market, Rio, Celeste, and other coffee tours and sloth tours. Beautiful space, host responds quickly and the bathroom is stunning. Great choice!"
