"My stay at Cozy Oaks Cabin was absolutely delightful. I came up for a weekend getaway to spend some quiet time in Nature, and find some great hiking trails with spectacular views. This was the perfect place to do both. I felt welcomed and at home the minute I stepped through the door of Cozy Oaks Cabin. Mike and Sue have clearly devoted themselves to this sweet cabin. The decor is tasteful and accentuated with beautifully crafted furniture and interesting antique pieces from the era that the cabin was built. Every detail appears to have been carefully thought out and lovingly attended to. The cabin was spotless, organized, and well equipped. Mike was always prompt to answer my messages, even on a Saturday morning when I had accidentally locked myself out! This was such an amazing experience, and I will definitely be coming back. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here."

"This is the perfect idyllwild cabin, nestled among boulders and trees with squirrels, chipmunks and hummingbirds. The location is perfect, not too far from town, but far enough to be peaceful. This was our second visit and we don’t see a need to stay anywhere else in idyllwild."

"Breakfast is nice. Would appreciate a low carb option on Sundays, which is their french toast day. It's delicious, but it's definitely a splurge day! Outdoor and indoor areas are very quiet and relaxing for laying around. Esp love the bird feeders! Staff are very helpful and kind, but you have to call them. There's no one in house to help. I don't really like that aspect of the lodge, because there are things that don't work such as light bulbs being out. This is not an isolated occurrence. Also, no elevator. Broken. Location is convenient for walking to everything in town. My husband enjoyed the Hot tub."

"Wow, what a great find! Our small family had a great weekend at this peaceful and immaculate home nestled among the pines and manzanita. The home is modern, comfortable and beautiful—with large windows and sky lights that set a relaxing vibe—and the outdoor space was great for us and our two dogs. We especially appreciated that the home is in a secluded and quiet area, but it's still within easy driving distance to hiking trails and town. We are already planning a return visit!"

"This is an authentic old school rustic cabin with all the modern amenities. There are squirrels, chipmunks and deer that frequent the property daily. Mark the host, has gone above and beyond to make this properties amenities memorable. The cabin is walking distance to Humber trail system and the great town of Idyllwild. While there we met Max the Mayor and enjoyed everything the town has to offer.We will definitely be back soon!"

"Beautiful house. Big enough where the kids had their own space from the adults. Comfortably accommodated two families. The home was a bit steep outside for my senior dog, but my hubby and I would carry him to more level ground. Alex was a very responsive host. The house was a bit of a walk from town for the kids and our senior dog, so we drove the last two days into town. We had privacy and it was nice and quiet. Definitely recommend."

"My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights on a weekend getaway and loved it!! The lighthouse atmosphere was so cozy, you get a panoramic view of the mountains. Perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. We will definitely be staying here again!"
