"The air in the room was on full blast and everything in the room was wet. The floors, counter tops, furniture. Woke up the next morning to cockroaches roaming around. Also had to pay another deposit when we checked in. They said we would get it back when we checked out, but in reality it was 5 days. Definitely not worth the $ we spent. Also the pool is a joke it’s about the size of a parking spot. I’m sure it was a last minute decision. Only good thing was waking up to the ocean rt there. Next time I definitely won’t stay in the seawall!"

"The rooms are clean and spacious. The parking garage is away from the hotel. So when you check in ensure to take down your stuff with you or else you have to drag your beach stuff and luggage from 1/2 a block away. The staff was nice and hotel had nice beach views."

"I paid a premium price for this hotel. The price was very comparable to the San Louis Galveston. The San Loui was booked up so decided to try this place out. Absolutely no comparison (other than price). The room was about the size of a large closet. With terrible view and sketchy location with not much security that I was aware of. Don't spend a 5 star price for a 2 star motel."

"This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table. There was no sink, but the bathroom sink was just a few feet away. The room included a coffee maker and hot water maker. In the evening we sat outside around the lit fire pit. The property was excellently maintained. The decor in the cottage was classic, like it was 100 years ago. The breakfasts were excellent. The hosts were both great chefs. The only issues we had were the mirror in the bathroom, while vintage, was a little small, and staying at the cottage did not give us access to the main house except for breakfast. Neither was a problem. It was a 15 minute walk to the seawall. Overall, a nice, quiet, and relaxing B&B. We will definitely stay there again."
