"This is a lovely historic property. Our room was on the main floor and even with foot traffic going up & down the stairs outside our room, it was quiet. For breakfast, you had a choice of five menu options that you could customize if you wanted. I opted for the French toast while my husband had the scrambled eggs with ham & green peppers. Both were delicious. If we are ever back in Galveston, we will be staying here!"

"Great location close to the Strand and cruise port. Beautiful old home, very clean.. it was perfect for our sux adults for one night. There is neighborhood noise but that is too be expected for the location. Walking distance to donuts and bagels. I would stay here again if available "
