The place is as described, with a few exceptions. During our stay, it was quite warm ( we were expecting this) so chose a place with air conditioning…It has air conditioning, but what they don’t tell you is it’s only the bedrooms, and per the host rules, you can only run them with the door closed and only when you are in the place. So because it was actually quite warm when we were there, we couldn’t actually enjoy the living room. The appliances were good.. only used the microwave because too hot to cook ( no dishwasher, so I recommend using very hot water)Also the host asked to leave shoes outside? I’m sorry but no..with cats running around the area I really didn’t want pee or poop in my shoes. The gates were problematic ( it takes several tries to get the close provided to work) but did work and I did feel somewhat safer, but in all honesty I wasn’t expecting people to be sleeping on the sidewalk next to my car.. obviously, not the fault of anyone but the economy and cost of living in San Diego, but knowing what I know now I might have chosen a location closer to convention center as I was traveling for a veterinary conference.Note: there is a small parking lot next to this location but it’s not for use by renters of this unit. Parking was usually within a block, but also I’m sure people were using trash cans to secure prime spots( literally, the only time we could park in front of the gate was the morning we checked out)
