Beautiful Condo in Dreamy San Diego

We booked this stunning unit to celebrate the holidays with my parents. The beachfront location was gorgeous and convenient, while the layout and amenities had us feeling right at home. We were comfortable, safe and fully enjoyed our stay. Hope to return in the future.

Great Stay

wonderful amenities as this beach house had everything you would need included. All we had to bring with us was clothes and food and if my grandson didn't have food allergies, we could have had the food stocked and ready upon our arrival. Definitely a return visit is in our future!

Great place!

We had a wonderful time! We rented the middle unit and it was perfect. Just as described. It was clean and had a ton of amenities (boogie boards, beach towels, umbrella, chairs, tent, beach toys, baby play pen, etc.) Also had a carport to park our car in the alleyway behind the unit. The location was amazing! Right between Mission beach and Pacific Beach so it wasn’t too busy but an easy walk of bike ride to either side. Coffee shops, restaurants, bike rentals very close by. Would highly recommend this location for your next beach getaway.

Exactly as advertised!

This listing is completely accurate...we had a great time! It was an end of summer getaway with our kids and in-laws. Perfectly located, clean, well maintained etc. Property management was very respsonsive and communicative pre-check in, they even proactively checked in to ensure we had what was needed. Great location, able to walk to Belmont but also far enough away from the noise. Would hands down be a repeat customer for this booking. Thank you!

San Diego Sunsets

Location is fabulous. The property layout was well suited for our purposes. We enjoyed the proximity, both walking and driving, to activities in which we were interested. We did have some problems with ants on the counter by the baby bottles the first day and the downstairs bath has a few issues. These will be shared with management and assume they will be dealt with. Overall, a great getaway.

Hope nothing breaks

Our family came to stay for a Marine Corps promotion. All was going well, the property was nice and looked like the photos, it was clean. But there was no hot water our entire stay…at a beach…where we were sweaty and Sandy and relaxing and wanted showers at the end of the day. We let the property owners know on Saturday. They said they couldn’t fix it but would fix it on Monday (we were leaving Tuesday). They did let us use the shower of the unit Nextdoor which was still annoying and inconvenient because it meant needing to drag our staff back and forth to another unit every time we had to shower. And the shower didn’t even get fixed on Monday or even communicated about. So…place is good…if you hope nothings broken or not working during your visit.

A small slice of heaven

My boyfriend, son, his girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights. The space was great! I was a LITTLE disappointed with how small the front deck was, but we made it work. The views were great! And, access to everywhere was perfect. One of the beach chairs was broken, but I assume the past guest never notified the property manager. Speaking of the property manager, I reached out a few times via text and never got a response. Luckily, it wasn't an emergency and we had no issues. I just had questions. All in all, it was a great 4 nights in a great location. Thank you!

Location location location

Relaxing! My family and I enjoyed our stay here very much,listened to the waves lol us to sleep every night. Location is amazing. Just step out your front door and start walking the boardwalk. Great for people watching too, just be ready for people to look in on you, which is not an issue at all, the property has privacy screens to pull down if you would like. Having three bathrooms was such a treat for us! The subzero fridge was great. Kitchen is stocked for the usual, but if any special needs double check with property. No storage containers or mixing Bowls, but this was not my first rodeo so I was prepared. The property is at such a great location who wants to go eat a mediocre meal with poor atmosphere when you have this view. A great dishwasher is provided but no dish soap for it again I brought my own as I have stayed in many VRBO‘s that don’t provide that. They had plenty of other things that other properties don’t extra paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags. We could take our garbage out every day and still have another bag if we wanted that was super nice . Reviews on properties on the boardwalk complained of ants, that is just part of being so close to the beach so make sure you don’t leave any food out plus they had ant spray and traps if needed. We had doughnuts on the counter in a closed container never an ant. But my daughter dropped a cookie crumb did not pick it up and ant were on it in the morning. Lastly, the most comfortable bed ever!

Location is Everything

Most importantly, the location of this property is incredible and worth the nightly rate. The beach is footsteps away, with a great view from the front patio and main bedroom. The property also gets bonus points for having a dedicated parking stall which fit a standard size SUV, and a fully stocked kitchen with appliances and dinnerware. Our expectations may have been skewed, but the property did not feel as big as we expected. We were able to accommodate our family (3 adults, 1 child, and 1 toddler) but did not have room for much more. The property also felt undermaintained – several of the toilets barely flushed, the door locks were very troublesome (more on that later), the washer and dryer doors didn’t align, and the ground floor felt sandy upon arrival. Overall, it was not as clean as we expected, and some things were really worn down. Our biggest complaint by far was the door locks. We arrived late at night and were able to secure the key from the lock box; however, we could not get the key to open the front door. We reached out to the 24-hr contact and they did reply within about 20 minutes (via text, not via phone) saying ‘sometimes you have to wiggle the door a bit to get the lock to engage.’ We eventually got the door to open, but were unable to operate the front door lock from inside the unit. Management should replace or better maintain all the locks on property. All in all, we were happy with the property. The location was incredible and exactly what we wanted.

Nice, but not as nice as the pictures show

Stayed for my b/day weekend. The location, directly on the boardwalk was nice. I will go through my review as I arrived: 1st: carport, barely fit a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. Had to fold the mirrors in, and the back end hung out a bit, was happy to have a dedicated parking spot. 2nd: Carport NOT attached to building, but rather the building behind & you haul your stuff around the left side of the building to the boardwalk, turn right and enter there, there is only ONE way in to the unit, and its ON the boardwalk- keep that in mind. 3rd: Once in, we noticed the unit is old and desperately needs to be updated. The sofa is disgusting, it's stained and dirty. There is only a coffee brewer, no Keurig, that was not a big deal to me as I don't drink coffee, but if you do, FYI. 4th: The bedrooms: old, dated, rusty. The master is oceanfront, was old, headboard was broken, the mattress was hard, the spa tub was rusty, there were a bunch of flying termites in the tub, the tv would not work right. The 2nd bedroom is small and the windows were moldy and gross. We didn't try the tv and the shower temperature would NOT get hot. Fifth: There were small black ants by kitchen sink, we asked for & received very timely, ant baits and did not see any more. Overall, 7/10, dated, had everything you need, NO BBQ tho. Despite sharing walls, we never heard our neighbors. For the $$, I expected a little nicer place. I will not stay at this place again. Save $ book direct w/Surf Style.

Freezer did not work, no ice to make drinks. Property needs repairs throughout. Main view window upstairs, toilet seat lose, Toilet flapper needs repair or it will run constantly. No wine glasses shower caulking coming off or hanging lose. Pillows need Replaced! Cabinet doors all need adjusting throughout house. I was not impressed with the overall experience and I would not recommend this place to anybody. So many other options!

Perfect condo for our family of five

This condo is in a perfect location and has a great floor plan. Just like all the other beach rentals you can tell it's a rental property but then you're just finding things to complain about. We had no issues during this trip and surf style was a fantastic host. We would most certainly return. The patio is a little on the small side, but you can utilize it at times.
