Really lovely hotel, made event better by the staff. They were attentive, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Very clean and modern pool area. Food was lovely with a wide choice at every meal.

Loved the property. Very friendly staff especially David at reception answered all my questions and such an enthusiastic employee. The hotel is 230 rooms or so so not gigantic which I enjoyed. Plenty of lounge chairs at pool and easy walk to the beach where you do have to go down 3 floors of stairs as its a cliff. The quality of buffets was excellent and rotated daily. Would definitely recommend.

What a view from my 6th floor room

What an amazing property. Loved the view from my terrrace on the 6th floor!! The pool below, palm trees and beyond the sand dunes and sea. Reflecting in the sun. Morevover, the breakfast is superb.

Great location for the beach. Food and drink options throughout the day were excellent. I really enjoyed the extra effort made for Christmas. Evening entertainment was not always worth staying for, but hotel was convenient to yumbo center.

Good but not as good as I have had there before

I have stayed here a number of times before - it is clean, modern, well furbished and well located 5 mins walk from either the Yumbo or the Beach. It has two good pools and entertainment nightly. It was full on my recent visit and unfortunately for some reason staff were reserving large numbers of loungers before dawn each morning for guests who actually sometimes didn't use them during the day. This was annoying as these were in the best spots which meant you had to keep trying to move around to find the sunshine. I am not sure why certain people got such service but it didnt seem terribly fair. The food I found rather predicatable and repetitive and could have done with some more imagination - it is fine, but is rather "same again" day in and day out. Compared to times I have stayed before you could tell it was full because the level of service wasn't quite as good as I have had before. But it is a good place to stay especially if you don't mind buffet food - the speciality restaurant which has to be booked is excellent. A call out for my cleaner - garden room 34. She was excellent.

Rien d’un palace

Ce Riu n’a rien d’un palace si ce n’est la taille de son infrastructure. C est un lieu pour tour opérateur (Tiu en l’occurrence). Un lieu où la moyenne d’âge est fort élevée et surtout où la nourriture mériterait le passage de l’hygiène. À côté de ça, le personnel est au petit soin et essaye de compenser, …, en vain. Vraiment très déçu par ce séjour.

Merveilleux sejour. Le personnel est ultra gentil et disponible. Les chambres sont tres confortables et bien insonorisées. A l'exception du snack qui est très moyen, les buffets du restaurant sont très variés et de très bonne qualité ; il y en a pour tous les goûts. Cela fait 2 fois que je viens dans cet hôtel, je n'hésiterai pas la prochaine fois.
