"Short walk from the train station, friendly staff, clean room. Breakfast buffet was also nice with good selection. Only minor negative about the double room, the area from front entrance of the room to the bed was very narrow so having 2 suitcases and a foldable stroller, it took a bit of work moving stuff around to be able to open the washroom door or even the front door when going out. It probably would have been better for a single person, or a couple packing very light. "

"The staff was consistently helpful and courteous and the room was very clean and comfortable but we chose the wrong type of room -- with 2 twin beds which left much less room around the beds; we should have chosen a room with one double bed. Sure, the bathroom was small by American standard but was not small by Japanese standard -- it was just fine. Their Japanese breakfast was wonderful with things that we can't prepare easily in the States. We also made many cups of tea (green & black) using free tea bags from the front desk. The hotel is only a few steps from the train station-mall so it was very convenient to take the train, eat & shop including food stuff. We had a very good stay."

"The location within the city is great. Lots of city life around. The downside is the parking lot is several blocks away. The rooms feel a bit dated but what makes up for this is the in-suite water filter and……FREE BEER on tap from 3pm-8pm. The Lawson next door is also connected directly into the hotel from the inside making it convenient to visit. Because of this, we never dined at the restaurant itself. "
