Not only is the scenery amazing, you can enjoy the sweet scent in the air as well! *They are usually in full bloom from late April to the first week of May. *The closest station is Yokoze Station or Seibu Chichibu Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line. There is an extremely steep hill on the way from Seibu Chichibu Station so if you're not up for that or have senior citizens in your party, definitely go from Yokoze Station. It's about 1.5 to 2hrs from Tokyo.

洗練されてるとは云いがたいが従業員さんは一生懸命。 設備はは正直ボロい。隣のお客の大騒ぎが筒抜け。大浴場と露天風呂は直接行き来できない。 トイレと部屋風呂は別だが、洗面所とトイレは同じ。(和室泊) 食事は悪くない。ご飯、お茶等はセルフ。 コストパフォーマンス的には妥当な線ではないかと。

芦ヶ久保氷柱のライトアップを見てからの宿泊となり、チェックイン時間に融通をきかせてもらったり、事前に色々と相談にのってくれてとても好印象でした。温泉も料理も期待以上でとても満足しました。

Location is inconvenient if you do not drive however the hotel do provide shuttle to and fro the station but limited to certain timing

サービスはいいが、暖房がきかず寒すぎる。

1月の寒波の時に泊まったとはいえ、暖房が全くきかず、とても寒い部屋でした。案内してくれた方も、今日はかなり寒いので、暖房がききにくくて申し訳ありません、とは言っていたものの、まさか滞在中ずっと寒いとは。部屋が角部屋で、2方向が窓だったので、それもあるかと思いますが、部屋をかえてほしいと思ったのは初めてです。冬以外ならば、窓から川が見えて、いいのかもしれません。またこれだけ寒いのに、トイレもウォシュレットでもなければ便座も冷たく、トイレに入るのも勇気がいるほどです。 建物の老朽化が目立ち、外観はかなりさびれた雰囲気だし、食事をする会場のCDもキズがあるのか、延々同じところを繰り返していました。 しかし、チェックイン時にウエルカムドリンクをいただけたり、フロントそばで甘酒サービスがあったり、卓球が無料でできたり、部屋や廊下に飾られている小物がかわいらしかったり、スタッフの方々のサービスには大変満足できました。また全室喫煙ルームで、禁煙希望の場合は消臭するという事でしたが、きれいに消臭されており、全く煙草の匂いはしませんでした。もう少しホテルをリフォームしたら、いいホテルになると思います。

ロケーション的に良いホテル

秩父観音霊場めぐりと長瀞川下りを目的に１泊しました。秩父にさほどホテルがなく温泉ということもあり使用した。車で行くにはローケーション的にも問題なく、食事も満足でした。ただ、部屋のトイレにウォッシュレットが付いてなく、これはマイナス点です。共用部のトイレにはありましたので、それを使用した。

Average hotel needs a lift!

With beautiful surroundings, we were a little disappointed with the state of the hotel - it just looks like it could do with a little bit of a freshening up. It was clean, comfortable, friendly, and roomy. Everything worked fine, and the staff were very nice.

おいしい甘酒

フロントの方に周辺の観光場所やご飯どころなど聞くことができ充実した旅行になりました。ホテル自体は良くも悪くも普通というか大衆むけな感じで温泉もまあまあという感じでしたが安かったし朝ごはんも美味しかったので満足しています。

Very old, damp, smelly

On the basement floor we found a puddle of water. The room smelt badly of smoke. We paid over 80 pounds, for a hotel in this condition 50 would have been fair.
