"The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed!"

"We spent an idyllic holiday weekend at Cedar Lane with three generations, and it will be a trip we remember forever. We spent hours enjoying the expansive views from the porch and watching the kids play on the lawn, and went for daily runs on the paths behind the house. The house itself is beautifully restored and is full of antiques, Persian rugs and oil paintings. We did day trips to Richmond and local wineries. "The River House was the perfect accommodation for three families that included 6 adults and 5 teens. The layout was great, with beautiful bathrooms in each bedroom and an amazing bunk room for the girls. "We had a really wonderful stay at this historic home. Everything was as nice in the pictures as in person and the setting and location was even more beautiful in person. The home was very clean. The sheets and towels were very nice quality and there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels stocked. The kitchen has everything we needed and was very modern. We highly recommend this place!"
