「In general I enjoyed the stay very much. The proprietor is lovely and helpful, the lodging itself is dated but full of charm. Breakfast was modest but fresh and very tasty. Being a Francophone helps as the host does not speak English but this is less an issue these days with translation tools available on your mobile device. The location is great - it is only abut a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach and area attractions, Only minor issue I had is an indirect bug relating to the historic...

「My husband didn’t like having to go up 60+ stairs to our room and he found the bed a bit ‘lumpy’. We didn’t have breakfast as we left at 6.30 am to catch the ferry. Stair carpet looks tired and ready for replacement. Conveniently located for the ferry port and near to the beach front. Plenty of restaurants offering good menu choices in the area.」

「A lovely old house in a secluded village in Normandy, with a few spacious rooms that have been tastefully refurbished. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is good, although I would have preferred it to be served a little earlier. The one area that could be improved is the amenities, which are almost non-existent. There was no soap, no shampoo, and very little else provided in the room. Nevertheless, the overall experience was very positive and pleasant. The location...
