My husband and I loved staying at Sadie’s Home. Sadie is absolutely wonderful and very caring. Willing to help in any way she can. I highly recommend staying here whenever someone visits Japan. Maybe it is a little out of the way for some popular places but totally worth it

This is not a normal hotel. It is a small apartment with cooking hot plate, microwave, washing machine/dryer. Typical Japanesebth and shower, in room airconditioner. About a 10 minute walk to Kokubunji Train Station. All directions in room are in Japanese. So you will need a translation app. Also office staff has very limited English and they use a translation app too.
You will get a feel for living in Japan with a small grocery store about a 3 minute walk. Enjoy.
