Luxurious but rustic decor, beams, stained concrete floors, beautifully furnished. One large master bedroom, King bed, with red sliding barn doors, high-end pull out couch, Queen bed, in living room plus two twins configured in a day bed. High end linens. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, eating area for four. Bath with shower/tub. Full laundry room with portacrib and changing table. High chair. WiFi, Comcast cable, flat screen TV. Amazon Alexa music. Lovely, private patio with table and four chairs, umbrella and lawn. Webber charcoal grill. Parking. This cottage is built on a 1.3 acre ranch-house estate in the Arden Oaks neighborhood of Sacramento. Winner of 2014 Coty Award for houses built in the under $250,000 category, Sacramento region.
We are on site but very separate so guests have almost total privacy.

Close to the main house, but still a very private stay. Lovely, quiet neighborhood, good for morning and evening walks with our dog. The cottage itself is lovely: beautifully decorated, comfortable King sized-bed, and all other necessities, especially AC as it was in the 90's during our stay! Close to Old Sac, downtown, and wonderful family-owned restaurants nearby.

Always a great place to stay

This is our third time staying here. We are always happy with the accommodations. We come out every June for our granddaughter’s birthday and this is very close to our daughter’s house and great Sacramento eateries. Sally always makes sure everything is in great shape.

Perfect Stay!

Loved staying on this beautiful property! Although I was in town for a conference, my partner and I felt like we were on vacation. The property is gorgeous and the cottage is nicely tucked in the back and next to the main house. The inside was very roomy and was rustic and lots of cowboy and country themes which were just lovely. I highly recommend this place, you won't regret your stay!

Comfy lil house

We were in the Sacramento area for a quick 2 day visit (for a wedding), and this house was a perfect place for us to chill and relax. Great location if needing to be in East Sac area (Carmichael), and close to many reataurants and shopping. Comfy beds and nice layout, i highly recommend.

Classy Cottage Comfort

The cottage, located at the end of a long driveway provides security and privacy. Very comfortable, nicely furnished, well stocked, and high quality linens, all make for a relaxing stay. Peaceful and cozy place to stay

The cottage was sparkling clean, bright and cozy. We stayed three nights and loved the linens, the kitchen and nice big refrigerator, the washer and dryer, and the neighborhood which is wonderful. We had no problems at all, made most of our meals in the kitchen, and enjoyed sitting on the front porch for drinks in the afternoon. Very pleasant, recommended!!

Sally and Grove were excellent hosts while at the same time respecting our privacy.

I have stayed at many VRBO properties and their cottage was the most organized I have experienced and exceptionally clean. This cottage is located in a high end residential community that is charming, quiet, and very well maintained. This is definitely a VIP rental.

This property was exactly as described, and in a beautiful & private neighborhood. Only negative I would mention, is that the front door and bathroom could really use some window coverings for some added privacy. Otherwise everything was fantastic!

Wonderful Stay at this Unique Property

My family stayed a week and it was the perfect spot for us. We had enough space for a family of 4 and I loved there was a patio out front where I could drink my coffee in the morning and not wake up the kids. This was probably the best stocked property we have stayed at- it had everything we needed for the week. I loved the laundry room, keurig machine, and the comfy bed. The decor, natural light and vaulted ceilings made this guest house feel spacious and bright. We would definitely return here in the future. Thank you Sally for a great stay!

Iconic Property

This cottage sits on a 1.5 acre lot detached from Sally's beautiful home. The gardens were just blooming beginning of March with hundreds of different flowers and shrubs, giant Redwoods, 60' tall lined our driveway, Italian cypress, birch trees and palms are interspersed with hedges around the property all maintained weekly by a friendly crew. The entire subdivision is filled with exquisite homes and beautiful yards that made our daily walks, treats, leaving us looking forward to our next outing. The cottage is clean, quiet and the furniture is comfortable, especially the king size bed. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. Sally the owner is a wonderful person and great host. We will try to arrange to stay here in the future when we are visiting the area.

Serene Retreat

The home itself is decorated in beautiful colors. It feels open and spacious inside. The artwork has a Western theme. It has its own huge private yard. Sally is very gracious and generous. She brought out toys and vehicles for the little toddler to enjoy. The neighborhood is gorgeous: densely wooded, huge landscaped properties with elegant homes, friendly pedestrians, and winding streets with very little traffic.

100% MOST AMAZING hidden gem!!

This was our first time staying in Sacramento. Been to it and thru it a million times but have never stayed!! This cottage/home/neighbirhood. Felt like home. ABSOLUTELY gorgeous neighborhood! Immaculately clean and super well equipped! We might come back just for fun next time. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and didn’t get to relax or enjoy the serenity of this property! The owners were so accommodating, gracious, sooooo easy to contact. I just cannot say enough good things about this whole experience. STAY here! We hope to come back next year. Thank you again Sally!
