"A good site in a nice area, though waiting for passing trains is a little frustrating! Good Indian restaurant and pleasant bar area on the waterfront. Visited Audley End House and Garden (40 mins away) and had a great day out there. Lots to see and do in the area."

"Good parking. Nice area. Staff were friendly. Room was cold even with heating on, asked for an extra heater but the staff couldn’t find me one. Mold growing on the inside of the fridge. Food was pretty poor from the boathouse cafe, cheap though. "

"We loved our little peaky pod! It had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. It was in a lovely location overlooking the river as well!"

"Well, to start with the place was difficult to find; once I had phone the owner and received directions then no problem (very helpful lady who answered) but these should have been communicated before arrival. The apartment was clean but generally quite tatty. The underground carpark it tight if you have a large van."
