"The hotel is nice , the staff are nice too but there are downsides hence my honest review . The lack of response from Expedia messages to the hotel which I guess go to the hotel as I received a book in now request from them . The main review as only ok was the room noise. If you want a peaceful night's sleep down pick a room that is opposite the street outside because it's noisy and you won't sleep. Again I was asked from Expedia about the hotel 2 days into my stay, the response from Expedia was the hotel manager will contact about your message (room noise) but nothing no contact then or since . There are positives like the hotel looks nice and staff are nice but the hotel room is way too noisy and the lack of response from the hotel is poor ."

"Hotel Dimar is a great hotel with a fantastic location in Valencia. It's walking distance from the city center as well the Turia Garden (the park that goes around the city). There are great restaurants and coffee shops nearby too. The staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We would certainly stay here again."

"For some reason we were allocated a disabled access room when we are an able bodied couple. This was probably the noisiest room in the building as its on the ground floor to the main street which has number of bars. It also meant many things were of heights not suited to us. This did spoil our experience somewhat. Aside from that the apartment was modern, reasonably comfortable and very clean but lacking some useful basics such as glasses, towel rail and any shelving in the bathroom. Location is good overall - less than 10 mins walk to the station and around 15 mins from the centre. Its also surrounded by plenty of eateries, bars and small shops but it does mean its a little noisy."

"A very central hotel with spacious rooms and a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and had lots of choice and cooked eggs also. Staff were always very pleasant and helpful."

"Great location of this hotel. 10 minutes walk from main train station linking Valencia to Madrid and 5 to 10 minutes walk to the heart of Valencia and places like the beautiful City Hall, pedestrian precinct and multiple shops, supermarkets, restaurants and landmarks. The hotel room and bathroom was clean, nice view from the bedroom window, adquate size and served all purposes. The gym was not really fit for purpose, a handful of weights (if even that) and only 2 or 3 machines. The sauna required a prior 40 minute notification to be switched on and was quite small. In the end there was no point using this leisure facility. Breakfast was approximately 6.30 to 10am and there was a really good buffet selection. The hotel does not do lunch or dinner, however there are plenty of options at nearby cafes and restaurants. "

"The location is excellent. Very close to old town. The staff were great especially Jose. Very helpful. The room had a beautiful view of the church across the street and high ceilings with a fan. Wonderful cafe located below. Lots of choices for coffee and tea in the kitchen that are complimentary. It could be cleaner and bathrooms could be cleaner. Lots of noise and banging from other guests. The doors are very thin and you hear a lot, conversations, doors banging etc. Good if you are on a budget."

"I can't fault the room, it was great to have a balcony and the bed was comfy. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking and I was very pleased to see a pod espresso maker, with pods provided. The rainfall shower was amazing too, and I loved the shower gel and slippers. The Hotel is well located for walking routes and public transport and there were nice cafes and bars in walking distance. The staff were really friendly and they provided luggage storage after checkout on our last day, at no extra cost, which was great as we had a late flight home. "
