10/10 Excellent

"Our first room had a couple of minor issues, and the front desk clerk wasn’t able to resolve them, but he quickly moved us to a new room. The second room was great, comfortable bed, great air conditioning, and everything worked as it should. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed for a couple of days, and the breakfast was consistently good each morning. The fitness center was adequate for a short stay, though the pool wasn’t ready for swimming."

"Room was very clean. Staff that checked us in were very helpful and friendly. Cleaning ladies were very accommodating when we needed more supplies. Only concern staying at this hotel was it was extremely packed the morning we were going to have breakfast and was unable to get any food due to short supply of food available and there was no seating in the small breakfast room. We settled for mc Donald’s down the road. Overall great hotel to stay at with children."

"I didn't like the way the property was run. we attended an event in Ruston and when we got back to our room nobody had cleaned the room and when we asked for towels after showering, we were told to leave the dirty towels in the hallway and someone would bring us some cleans. We waited for and hour and a half and still no towels. I had to ask a maintenance man to please get us some fresh towels. The breakfast in the morning, the coffee pot was broken with no replacement. The food was picked over with barely anything left. This was our first visit to Quality Inn and our LAST. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"The property is really nice the staff were all kind friendly & helpful. The room amenities ok. Now for the items that need work and this coming from an inspectors view. Rm421 1.) we were on the 4 th floor some type of machinery, sounded like a large generator starting up and running for a period of time. Not real loud but you know it’s there and get use to it. 2) there was a constant vibration felt on the floor and bed and I even felt it while on the sofa. Notsure where that was coming from. 3) in the shower the head needs cleaning the spray has holes that are clogged & some spraying elsewhere instead of on the one taking a shower and it ends up on the floor outside the shower if you preheat the water. 4) the shower water control is loose and would not let me control the temp as I wanted to either hot or cold with a little warm In between. 5) one of the nightstands has had the outlets removed & I had to use an extension cord to charge my phone. 6) one of the elevators needs maintenance sounds like it needs grease (???) and the floor chime is annoying should be lower tone & volume. 7) only purchased a couple of drinks at the bar/eatery but to only be able to use a credit/debit card is not good, get back to also using the good ole American greenbacks please!! 8) one end of the building entrance auto door locks sounds like it’s locking / unlocking hard I’m sure whomever rooms are close to that entrance had to be annoyed. Hope this helps the hotel get things fixed"

"The house has a lot of charm and some great features, but there were several surprises we wish had been clearer in the listing.Pros-The house was easy to find and check-in was simple.-Cool old home with nice furnishings and a comfortable living-room setup.-All the beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the amount of seating available.- The kids loved the floor puzzle and playing Scrabble.Cons-The kitchen was missing some basics, like hot pads, measuring cups, skillet, and toaster would have been nice, but we were able to work around it.-Two of the four bedrooms had extremely bright exterior security lights shining directly into the windows all night, and the blinds did nothing to block the light. It felt like daytime inside the rooms.-Noise traveled easily from the downstairs half of the house; renters below had loud music and TV that carried clearly through the walls, giving it more of a motel vibe.-Not suitable for small children due to two unprotected staircases.Big Surprise / Important to Know-When we opened the front door, we were immediately met with 20 steep steps leading straight up to the second floor. We were traveling with an older family member and we wouldn’t have booked the property had we known.The house definitely has potential and some very nice qualities, but a few adjustments and clearer listing details would greatly improve future stays."
