「This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated.
The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome.
We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!」

「Excellent hotel , very spacious clean room . The swimming pool was a bonus and we did enjoy it .
Centrally located in Russell next to the beach and wharf with great parking . The beach was a bit disappointing , it was not sandy . However the Hotel was a peaceful retreat . The hotel room was ideal if you were self catering but there were many varied good restaurants nearby as well . We would definitely return and would highly recommended it . 」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Villa Russell. The balcony views to the bay were both beautiful and relaxing. The room was large with a king sized bed and good quality linen and towels. The room had a small kitchen with fridge microwave, kettle etc . Breakfast items were located in the fridge. We enjoyed the simple breakfast of cereal, toast, fruits and yoghurt. Sue, our host was very helpful. 」
