"The hotel stay was pleasant. Very clean, convenient free parking right at the hotel, breakfast was plenty. Optional dinner on most days. You can start your hikes right at the hotel. I liked the guest kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker and filled refrigerator. The hotel takes the risk counting on honest guests. I really felt good about it. "Very clean and nice big room! No aircondition, so it was quite hot. We arrived at night, and was a bit confused where to get the keys but when we found the reception in the hotel a bit further up the street we got amazing service from the guy working in the restaurant there. They even made is food and served us perfectly although it was so late and everything else was closed. They really made our day! "I was quite pleased with my stay here. It was perfect and economical for my purposes. The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out. It isn't a town that is open all hours, so don't expect to eat late at night, but it's definitely charming and the hotel was a part of that!"
