The spacious screened-in porch, overlooking Rough River, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view, and the fireplace adds to the cozy, retreat-like atmosphere.Inside, the layout works perfectly for families or groups. With five bedrooms, there’s plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen and dining area are filled with natural light from the many windows, and there are more than enough dishes, cups, and wine glasses. I loved having games and a small bluetooth speaker for background noise while reading.The cozy room features a large TV and a comfortable setup to unwind. There’s even extra space for cornhole or volleyball near the back patio, and the entryway has a convenient spot for shoes so you don’t track dirt through the house. The living room windows look right out onto Rough River, which is stunning.I can’t wait to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoors, and again in the fall — the foliage must be incredible. This property is quiet, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped for a truly relaxing stay."

"We had a great time! The only thing is we thought we have a better view of the lake in better access. But everything was pretty chill. The check in part was a little aggravating having to take pictures of IDs and credit cards an and selfies. I've never had to fill out that much to rent a house. But it was relaxing and they had a book on the table with information that was nice. "

"We had a great stay at this cozy, super clean, and well-equipped cabin. The decor is lovely, the beds are comfy, and the location is quiet and private — perfect for relaxing! You can see a bit of the water from the deck, but the walk down requires good shoes, bug spray and maybe even long pants and sleeves — my son had a run-in with some poison ivy, so just something to keep in mind! We spent our evenings grilling and stargazing — so peaceful. While we missed out on water activities due to a transport hiccup, others were having a blast. Big Mouth had simple but amazing food only a short driving distance. Lastly, the host was kind and flexible. Highly recommend!"
