Megs Loft really is special,It is very peaceful with a stunning view, in a beautiful part of the country.The owners have put a lot of love and care into the accommodation. A previous reviewer mentioned the 1000 thread count sheets. This is a valuable point because it illustrates just how much attention to detail has been given. My late partner and I stayed in many self catering properties and so often they had poor bed linen.There is complete privacy but the owners live in the large separate house on the property and they could not be more inviting and helpful.The short walk down the lane to the lovely community run local pub is itself a treat with the amazing sound of bird song. Make sure you have at least one meal in the pub. It is also worth supporting the village shop, another community run enterprise, staffed by pleasant and inviting people.

Stay in Rome

The property is in an old building but the apartment has updated amenities such as kitchen and bathrooms. Be prepared for a small elevator but it works. The neighborhood is safe and nice grocery store across the street. Restaurants within 4 minute walk and most overlook the Colosseum. The host Paolo is wonderful. The best is the private terrace. View is amazing.

We stayed in Rome for 3 days. The location to all our attractions was close by. We used taxi’s to get to our further destinations. Paolo was available at anytime and gave lots of recommendations.

Close to everything but away from the crowds

We had a wonderful experience at this property. It fit our needs very well for a family of four staying a week in Rome. The terrace access really takes this place over the top. Much better value than staying at a hotel. The owner was great at check in and helped us throughout the week with various needs.

This was our first time in Rome, Paolo was very helpful, friendly , easy to reach at any time always available to help us out, give us ideas ,suggestion and solutions. The location is central close to the Colosseum, the apartment is comfortable and contributing to experiencing Rome, the terrace is amazing for your morning coffee or a quick snack with great view of the Colosseum. Rome visit - Amazing view and Location

The location and view were both outstanding, Walking distance to Colosseum and dozens of restaurants. Grocery store across the street. Colosseum, Vatican and Altare Della patria all visible from rooftop patio. Host was very thorough at check-in and offered a number of suggestions, which were great. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

The Best Vrbo in Rome

Paolo was the best host I have encountered in my many Vrbo rentals. Excellent communications, in-depth links for dining and groceries, and he even stocked the kitchen before our stay - amazing! the apartment was perfect and the location was key to our enjoyment of Rome - close to transit hubs and sight seeing - truly an amazing experience!

Paradise In Rome

This property is as beautiful as it appears in the photos. The patio view is stunning. We started our days with breakfast on the patio, and ended with wine at night. The apartment is safe in a secure building, spacious, clean, modern, and quiet. The kitchen is modern and the washer dryer a great convenience. It is located minutes in walking distance from the metro bus and subway lines. Paolo, the property owner was always available to answer our Rome questions. We rented the apartment for the month of October and loved the warm charm everyday. We would highly recommend this property as the "Best of the Best" in Rome.

Paolo was so helpful and such a great host. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. We were in walking distance to the Coleseum and many great restaurants. The property is conveniently located at the east entrance of the Coliseum. The rooms were amble comfortably for 4 people. The access to the roof top is a nice addition, i ljust wish the lights had work. The hoat commuication was spot on.

Paolo was amazing start to finish. Responded to everything. Recently renovated apartment was lovely. Everything you need. Supermarket across the road and larger supermarket a couple of blocks away. Book this apartment right now, then come back to finish reading this review!  Our family spent 10-days at this lovely property and Paolo’s apartment checks every box for the discerning traveler. Situated within walking distance or a short taxi from almost every site you’d want to see in Rome, we couldn’t have picked a better location. The neighborhood was safe, the local restaurants were amazing and affordable and the grocery store just across the street covers all your needs if you want to cook for yourself, or simply grab a bottle of vino for enjoying the amazing sunset view from your private balcony. Your host, Paolo is incredibly kind, caring and helpful! Not only did he answer our texts when we had questions or wanted suggestions, he also helped us book a roof-top restaurant where we celebrated our wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived at the airport until we departed, Paulo was there assisting us in any way he could. 10 star rating and exceptional is not high enough for this property. Great apartment with great location and view

The owner met us at the front gate and showed us how to access the apartment and all amenities. He even helped with our luggage. The apartment is on the top floor with private roof access with an amazing sunset view of Colosseum, the Vittoriano and St. Peter's Dome.

We started out our trip in Rome Rental Apartments with Paolo. At the last minute, he was able to provide us with our accommodations and always available to answer all our questions with pleasure. We started our trip with a good attitude because of Paulo’s hospitality. It is almost like visiting a friend we’ve known for a long time. He was flexible and understanding with all our needs. Pls. Go up to the terrace at night if you have time and enjoy the Colosseum view from the rooftop. I will use Rome Apartment Rentals again! By the way, the tram or buses is very accessible to use.

Perfect spot in Rome

We stayed with our 17 and 20 year old kids and it was a perfect spot. The rooftop view is even better in person and photos don’t do justice. Paolo was so helpful and kind. He booked cars for us and even gave recommendations as needed. This was a great place. We own properties as well and appreciated the great service and all that this property and host offered!

Amazing terrace and view

The apartment is lovely and we spent every evening picnic-ing on the terrace admiring the view. Paolo the host was very welcoming and had thought of everything including arranging pick up at airport, luggage storage at the end and lovely restaurant recommendation. Wonderful experience

Our stay in Rome was made so much better by the clean and comfortable apartment we stayed in. Paulo was very helpful and kind throughout the entire time we were there. His tips on restaurants etc… were spot on….yes to LiRioni! This neighborhood is close to the attractions and yet not inundated by crowds like many other areas. Also, let me not forget to add that the view from the rooftop is spectacular! The sunrise and sunset times are a must!

AMAZING TERRACE AND SPECTACULAR APARTMENT

My 3 adult children and I loved this spacious apartment! We loved the decor and the comfort of this place, the view of the plaza below, the large bath/shower in the main bath, the location (just a minute or so away from the Pantheon), the homemade cobbler left for us in the kitchen, and especially the quick responses from the host if we had questions. We will stay here again if we go back to Roma!

Great location but loud and needs renovation

The apartment is spacy very well located, clean and close to to the Colosseo and near public transports. Nevertheless it is an old building with bad isolation whether it's for the noise or the cold. Windows need to be changed as they don't close properly and we could hear the constant noise in the street as well as the elevator.

Perfect Fall Roman Holiday

The location of this property is perfect. We walked almost everywhere, and Paolo the property owner helped us with securing airport transport. I highly recommend this spot for a family vacation. The view is unparalleled. If Paolo gives you any sightseeing recommendations, take them, we found a few off the beaten path gems, that where the highlight of our trip. I’m not sure how the trip could have been better.
