New Construction with all amenities for rest, relaxation and fun. Wake up to a view of the valley from the wooded and lawn covered hillside. In about an hour you can visit the Finger lakes, Watkins Glen and Corning Glass Museum. Minutes away is Kayaking on the Bradford County 40 acre pond or the mighty Susquehanna nearby. Mt Pisgah State park for fishing or poolside swimming is available.
Wrap around 1,000 sq/ft deck has seating and tables for you and your friends. This year round property includes miles of hiking trails out the back door.

We had a great stay, the house was exactly what we needed. It was clean and big enough for all of us. We especially loved the big deck. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was big and clean. The water smelled of sulfur, so we did end up buying several gallons of drinking water. We had no cell service about 10-15 min before we reached the house, so I’d recommended downloading your map and saving the check in instructions.

We enjoyed our 2nd stay in Hillside while visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. The house is very clean and comfortable. The host is accommodating and responsive.

Great stay! Well liked by all! I would definitely book this place again. I do suggest a few things….1) more choices of pans such as a bigger pot (spaghetti), 2) darker curtains/shades in the front bedrooms, 3) some kind of signage at the stone driveway directing up to the house (there’s a story to this one), 4) knowing guests are arriving, maybe have a front porch light on and an inside light on and have the temp in the house set better than 53 degrees, and 5) a better check out procedure flyer placed on the counter. We were very unsure how to leave the home (strip the beds or not, start a load in the washer or not) until we finally saw the small index card on the bulletin board about “housekeeping”. Just some suggestions to make the next persons stay easier.

Very pleased. We stayed a week. House very clean and a beautiful deck to hang out on. Plenty of room. Even enough room to have others to come visit and hang out.for evening. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect for family gatherings!

The house was located in a perfect spot, up on the hill in the middle of nature! Spacious house, larger than it looks in the pictures. The outdoor area was perfect, huge deck with lots of tables and chairs, fire pit, and even a screened in pavilion. We live out of state and wanted a place where our family could drop by and see us! Will definitely stay again!

The home itself was beautiful and clean. Yet, I will never book this property again. The water stunk so bad, we couldn’t use it. We used bottled water for everything and couldn’t shower. I have never smelled water so horrible. There were no keys to the home. So, after you check in if you leave you can’t lock the door. There were no blinds on the windows and some windows had no blinds. It was a little unnerving. The stink is what ruined the house though.

Great Stay

This property is new and clean. We were happy with the flexibility of the host and the comfort of the home. The only downside, as others have mentioned, was the nasty sulfur smell of the water. It also has a slimy feel. If you can get past that, the place is perfect! Rich is responsive to questions and was flexible with our needs as we were bringing a baby for the holiday weekend. .

Incredible House

Our family loved this visit from booking to the end. Owners responded to all questions and were very helpful. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed and so much more. You are getting so much more than a 4 bedroom house in wonderful. The outside patio and land was so comfortable. Would stay here again when coming back to visit family.

Awesome!!

The house was beautiful very peaceful. Directions were accurate and on time. Clean!! It couldn’t be better. We even got a bottle of wine and a welcoming note. I strongly recommend it. It was one of the most relaxing weekends I had.

Beware of Water

Water is horrible!! Sulfur smell is so bad that whole house smells. We were visiting son and daughter in law who live locally and couldn’t have them over because of the smell.(she is pregnant and smells bother her) All our sterling silver jewelry is now brownish orange from the water. I messaged the owner and never got a response.

Great Stay in my Hometown Area.

We were up visiting family and the Rock Gem and Mineral Show. I'm the only person local to Bradford County in my family. There were a few hiccups getting into the place... I wasn't able to open the door and I'm quite strong for a female. Thankfully my husband got the door open. We would 100% stay here again. It's our first Vrbo, but definitely the best experience of staying at a home/ cabin we've had thus far. The water does smell like sulfur, but that honestly doesn't bother me since I grew up in the area. Again I highly recommend this location!

Lovely place to stay

We have stayed in a lot of rental home as we have family all over the country. Out of all the places we stayed this is the best home we have stayed at all amenities provided and really clean. but most importantly Beautiful the view in the morning is amazing. the only down sides is the well water smell and the sheer curtains but other than that it was perfect! Only reason I mentioned curtains is we had 4 Military Vets and we have awful sleeping issues so we prefer black out curtains especially with cars headlights during the night.
