The atmosphere of this small and original village is unique and wonderful! It seems to be in a place out of time, yet you are in the ancient heart of Trastevere. A maze of courtyards, arches and galleries: this is hidden behind an arch surmounted by a large window in a hidden, dead-end street, Via degli Orti d'Alibert in the #RioneTrastevere. Located in the center of Rome, located in the heart of Trastevere, but in the quietest area, in a green oasis, it offers accommodation with city views and free WiFi, all just 1 km from Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, 1 km from the Vatican, 1 km from Piazza San Pietro and 700mt from Castel Sant'Angelo.
The apartment, of 60 square meters, furnished in a modern style, on the 1st floor (no elevator but light and comfortable flight of stairs) is very welcoming and bright and extremely quiet, includes 1 romantic double bedroom in the mezzanine, with 1 other single bed and wardrobe downstairs in the same room, a delightful living room, with dining area, double sofa bed and flat-screen TV, a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave, and breakfast corner, and 1 bathroom with shower. There are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers for your safety.
Sheets and towels are included. It also offers a delightful veranda, where you can have breakfast, enjoy a cocktail at sunset, or have lunch and dinner in the open air!!At your check in you can pay in cash
The mandatory tourist tax of the Municipality of Rome is €6 per day per person. Thank you

We had a great stay! The check-in was easy. Beautiful area outside of the apartment, very quite neighbourhood a short distance from busy Trastevere streets. Well-stocked kitchen. Walking distance to Vatican and historic Rome areas.

Internet ok. Die Wohnung war etwas dunkel und zu kühl. Lage authentisch und interessant. Kurze Wege zu Altstadt und Vatikan. Hilfe beim Koffertragen die sehr steile Treppen hinauf wäre angenehm gewesen. Sitzgelegenheiten waren zerschlissen. Matratze sehr bequem.

Great location

The location is superb. The appartement itself is okay. Furniture is a bit old, and the chairs need replacement. But it has everything you need. Also the airconditioning is a huge advantage. You cannot use the airco and the oven at the same time though, this leads to electrical shortage, as we experienced the first evening... All together a nice place to stay and a great location to discover the old centre of Rome.

The owner/host did not post fully accurate pictures of bathroom. The shower has a higher than normal entry ledge, and also narrower than normal. Over 2 feet tall, and less than 20 inches wide. On top of this, the point of entry is where the tub slopes, so you have only 5 inches of level space in an awkward entry. I would NOT have selected this rental if it showed the tub-shower entry accurately (due to traveling with my aging mother). When I voiced concerns at check in, I was dismissed and treated poorly. They knew there were 5 of us the first night, and we paid extra for that, and had booked nearly a full week and they only stocked one roll of toilet paper. Additionally, they have the instant hot water taped off so you get only 5 minutes of a hot shower, and it was clear there had not been cleaning in the bathroom between the prior tenants and ourselves. Mold, mildew, nasty rug. They also do not do basic maintenance at the building, as we were yelled at by residents that live there for the leaves in the courtyard not being cleaned up. I was first told I didn't know what I was talking about when I reached out to the owner. Then accused of lying and told I was stupid. This is putting it politely. I rented 3 different vrbos in Italy, and had 2 different hotel stays as well over 2 full weeks - this is the ONLY one place we had any issues with. The safety, hygiene, and professionalism are lacking here. AVOID this specific place, but not this area.
See abnormal height of tub entry - using sink as height reference.
See how narrow entry point is, and how little has level footing as you step in.
I am only 5' see how the entry is barely wider than my elbow to finger tips.
See how you actually have to squeeze in past the sink, so it is extra awkward and a safety issue.

Perfect vacation. We love staying here. You will enjoy being close to delicious restaurants and the river. We walked everywhere. We did not need a taxi or the metro. The home is quiet and peaceful. The hosts were fabulous. They went beyond and above to help us out. Thank you! We stayed here with teenage children. It was perfect. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds were comfy. AC worked. Hot water was good. Follow the instructions and be a good guest; everything will be magical.

Location dans le Trastevere

Location bien située dans une résidence très calme. Nous avons fait toutes nos visites à pieds avec nos deux ados. Si besoin, arrêt de bus à 10 min à pieds. Le logement est grand et agréable. Cependant je le déconseille pour des personnes à mobilité réduite : accès mezzanine et baignoire pouvant poser problème. Si couchage dans le canapé lit : prévoir un bandeau pour les yeux car les stores sont difficiles à fermer et laissent filtrer la lumière. Lit mezzanine couchage 1 personne très bien.Contact facile avec les gérants : nous avons eu plusieurs échanges de mail avant notre séjour et Rita nous a répondu rapidement. Pas de soucis à notre arrivée : Fabrizio nous attendait.

Ubicacion ideal pero ..

Ubicacion ideal, puedes ir andando, 10 minutos, al Vaticano, al Castelo, al trastevere y al centro histórico. Esto se merece un 10Cuando llegas al apartamento da uns sensación de viejísimo, casi destartalado, la casa por dentro ha sido reformada.Tiene puntos negativos que relato:-La lavadora tiene unas instrucciones en italiano que no ayudan a ponerla en marcha.-La persona que nos recibe es muy exigente en el trato , llegando incluso a ser molesto.-Cuando entras te exigen una tasa en efectivo por días y adulto, te dicen que para el ayuntamiento pero nunca antes se nos comunico este pago.-Las escaleras al piso de arriba son peligrosas al igual que el techo del piso de arriba.-La cama de abajo estaba medio rota, tuvimos que colocar 3 lamas de la cama porque está se hundía y nadie había arreglado.-Se cayeron los dos detectores de humo, que estaban pegados al techo, sonando unas alarmas y casi nos da un infarto - Se cayó un plato de pared, pegado a la pared.- El sofa rojo está viejo y es incomodísimo.Si me preguntas si volvería, la respuesta es que no te lo clara la relación de la situación, el precio y la calidad.

Dans l’ensemble très bon logement. Petit bémol cependant : les stores manuels ont bien vécus ne fonctionnaient plus donc lumière du jour dans le salon(couchage dans canapé pour 2 personnes)dès 5h du matin.
