The first day we could not get down the access road as there was ongoing road work which we could not get past. "Vale was, to be brief, all that we hoped for and more. A small village nestled below pastures and forests, it was quiet and delightfully scenic. The house is lovely, although be prepared for multi-levels and the need to take an outside staircase to each level. "The house was great, and the backyard vibe was awesome! There were a few essentials missing when we arrived (paper towels, trash bags, etc), but we had a very last minute booking - so it was totally understandable. The property manager was very quick to address it and he was very attentive throughout the week. The one improvement I would suggest is an additional gate remote and house key. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this holiday home! The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was exactly as described: not new, but very well maintained, perfectly clean, fully functional, and warmly heated, which was especially appreciated during our February stay. Supermarkets are about a 20-minute drive away. The host was very kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Overall, a great experience – we would love to come back!"
